Hey everyone! Sorry it took me so long to finish my chapter. But i've been doing a lot with school stuff. Being a college student you dont always have time to write :/ BUT!             Tenshi had her eyes to the ground. A smile had made its way over her lips and she couldn’t seem to shake it. Fortunately, she could merely blame it on the fact that she wasn’t stuck in the hut anymore. She glanced at Lucius to find him watching the tops of the trees in front of them. She had no idea where they were headed but she didn’t mind.

          Lucius felt her eyes on him and leered, smiling.

                Tenshi swallowed her shyness and said quietly, “Thank you. For calling me beautiful, I mean.” Her eyes darted to his to find the smile still there.

           “I was only telling the truth,” he insisted.

Before Tenshi could reply, Lucius held her hand as they continued the walk. Feeling a nervous lump form in her throat she just went with her instinct to hold his hand in return. 

                “So, how do you like the Island so far Tenshi?”

                “I haven’t been able to see much of it yet, strict orders to stay in the hut remember?” replied Tenshi laughing.

                “Ah yes, I bet Caccia will be excited to see you out of the hut when we return to the village.”

                “Oh crap! I forgot to find Caccia before I left! She’s gonna be worried.”  Tenshi worried to herself.

                “Speaking of Caccia, do you have any idea where she is today?” replied Tenshi continuing the conversation.

                “I think she went down to the beach with a new friend she made, Sam I believe his name was. She told me in case you wanted to where she would be today.”

                “Oh, Sam? Hmm I haven’t heard about him yet. Gonna have to get the details after I tell her the good news about my leg.”

                “Uh oh.” Lucius laughed. “Is Caccia in trouble?”

                “Not much, it’s a best friend thing.” Joked Tenshi.

                As Lucius and Tenshi made their further into the jungle they came by a big fallen tree. Lucius climbed over the tree, sat the picnic basket down next to him and held his arms out to help Tenshi climb over the tree.

                “Um, you sure I can make it over the tree without falling?” asked Tenshi nervously.

                “Well I think you can do it just fine. But if you go to fall don’t worry I’ll catch you” replied Lucius with a confident yet sweet smile.

                “Alright, I trust you.” Tenshi first lifted her good leg on the tree so she could pull herself up better. But as she attempted to step with her bad leg her foot slipped and she fell forward into Lucius’s arms. Knocking him clean over as she fell onto him.

                “Are you okay? I’m so sorry!” said Tenshi quickly. When Tenshi went to pull herself up and get off of Lucius, she felt him keep his hold around her waist.  She looked into his eyes and as he looked back it was an instant connection. Neither one could pull themselves to look away or move from one another.

                “Lucius…” Tenshi began to say but before she could finish her sentence Lucius reached up and brushed what little hairs were in her face away and kissed her softly, and gently on the lips.

                “I’m glad you came on this walk with me” said Lucius slightly breathless.

                “I’m glad too.” 

                Lucius and Tenshi got up, and then hand in hand walked to a quiet little meadow with beautiful flowers as far as the eye could see.

                “Lucius, its beautiful” said Tenshi.

                “Extremely beautiful” added Lucius looking at Tenshi as he said it.

                “I meant the meadow Lucius” giggled Tenshi.

                “Oh yeah, that’s beautiful too” replied Lucius.

                Setting the picnic basket on the ground, Lucius retrieved a blanket and spread it out on the ground.  He helped Tenshi sit before he began getting some nice fruit and vegetables he had earlier harvested from his garden, also he brought some fish he caught earlier.

                “This looks amazing! But what’s the occasion? I thought we were just going for a walk?” asked Tenshi curiously.

                “To celebrate your leg being healed” said Lucius as he began making a plate to serve Tenshi.

                “You know what Lucius?”

                “What’s that love?

                “Well this might sound odd but, I’m glad my plane crashed here” said TenshiTenshi.  shyly.

                “Oh? And whys that?”

                “Because if it didn’t I wouldn’t have met you.” 

                Lucius smiled in response leaning over and kissing Tenshi.
