Had I known what that day would entail, I never would have shown up. I would have just stayed at home. The events of that first band practice will haunt me forever. Some people want to forgive and forget. But that can never happen. I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive them, but I know I sure as hell will never forget. One day I swear on all of their graves, I WILL get my revenge

My friends and I casually walk into the band room, ready for the first day of band camp. Behind us, the doors slam shut and the lights turn off.
"Hello members of the marching band. We are going to play a little game. You will do exactly as I say and no one dies. And unless you would like to take your chances, I'd advise you do as I say. Now do 25 push-ups. " the voice sounded chilling and unfamiliar, but let's be real. What he said sounded like a poorly written prank from the football team, but still I did the push-ups.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see some seniors just chilling in the corner instead of doing the push-ups like the rest of us. I roll my eyes at my friends and stand up as I finally finish my push-ups. Almost immediately after everyone who chose to do the push-ups stood up, the voice came on again.
"Some of you have chosen to disobey me. Clearly you didn't believe my little warning, so you will all suffer."
The voice was terrifying and loud, the room literally shook. I grabbed my stuff and ran to the door, desperate to leave before anything bad happened. The doors were locked. But I still tried to yank it open with all my strength.
Everyone was pulled into a straight line by some force, stronger than anything I've ever felt before. I was sobbing at this point. I just wanted to go home.
"Now since some of you didn't calmly listen to me before, I'm afraid each of you will have write the name of a person in this band on a piece of paper and place your paper in the bin up front." Like magic a container appeared in the front of the room awaiting our paper.
I quickly wrote down the name of a person, in the hopes that if we all listened we could leave and no one had to die. The voice came over the loudspeaker once more when everyone was done writing.
"Now I will choose one name from that bin at random..." the voice trailed off. I wonder what's going to happen, but I have no doubt it's not good.
The container is suddenly in the air as if someone's was holding it, and slowly a paper is pulled from it. It all happended so fast. As I saw the name of my sister I heard a gunshot ring through the room. Karalyn.
