"You're not going to class?"

Yoongi watched with a raised eyebrow as Jimin pulled on his boots, his book bag still left discarded on his bed. He watched as Jimin shook his head, adjusting his glasses and pulling a beanie over his hair.

"Jungkook's visiting hours start in about ten minutes." He answered, brushing off his jeans. "I promised that we could paint together today, he hasn't since he was admitted there, and I know that it was always his favourite medium to work with."

Jimin had a smile on his very as he spoke about his boyfriend, his overall expression looking extremely fond. He had redone his hair, the locks atop his head regaining their signature silvery shine. His eyes though, looked sad.

Sad that he had to skip the class that him and Jungkook once shared together to go see him.

Jimin tried to pretend that he was okay with the situation, always telling Yoongi that he 'saw Jungkook enough to get me through the days', but the eyes are the most expressive part of the face, and they told such a completely different story then what Jimin's lips bluffed.

"This is the third time you've skipped this week, Jimin." Yoongi frowned, watching as Jimin shoved a few tubes of acrylic paint into the side pocket of his book bag.

Jimin lips tugged into a frown for the quickest of moments, morphing back into he default small smile a second after.

"I've got my classmates telling me what goes on in class." He reassured his roommate. "I'm not falling behind or anything." Jimin breathed out a sigh, adjusting his wire framed glasses. "Besides, it's not like I can go see Jungkook whenever I want anymore - I need to take advantage of the time I am granted."

Yoongi finally caved, nodding and smiling. After all of this time, he was still weak for his best friend; never able to stop him from doing what he wanted when he looked so hopeful.

"Let me know how he's doing, alright?" Yoongi spoke, reaching out and pinching Jimin's cheek gently as a fond gesture. "Taehyung feels bad that we haven't gone to see him yet, but we'll come by as soon as possible."

Jimin giggled softly at the action and nodded, picking up his bag and slinging it over the shoulder. Yoongi couldn't help but notice the sharpie doodles that were scrawled across the beige fabric, most specifically the one done in what he recognized to be Jungkook's handwriting.

'Cloudy days don't exist for me anymore, not with the sun always by my side.' It read, 'Dark nights will never be a reality for you, not with your moon to light the sky.'

It was complete with little doodles of a sun and moon next to the writing, Yoongi sighing out sadly before catching Jimin's gaze once again.

"I'll tell him that." Jimin nodded, brushing a few pieces of hair out of his eyes. "I should get going. I really do hate leaving him alone."

Jimin departed, Yoongi watching with a dull ache in his chest as Jimin walked out the front door. The younger male gave a small wave, before closing the door and becoming out of sight.

For Jimin, it was still hard to get used to not having Jungkook next to him during every single moment of the day. It just didn't feel right to be walking somewhere and not having Jungkook's hand to warm his own. It was still unfamiliar for him to look to his side, and not see Jungkook standing right there next to him.

His heart ached for Jungkook, just as the flowers beneath the frozen ground ached to sprout.

Jimin's boots crunched against the snow covered ground, the cold seeping through the seams of the old pair of footwear. He had chosen to walk, the crisp fresh air helping him to clear his mind of all of the deafening thoughts.
