Max waited eagerly at the place where he and ian agreed to meet. He was practically bouncing with excitement and was visibly the happiest he'd been in a long time.

His sister stood with him, only agreeing to take Max here on the terms of meeting Ian. Ian had already made a good impression on her without trying because he was the man that made her little brother happy when no one else could.

A car pulled up and out stepped the man himself.

Max ran up to Ian as quick as his legs would allow him before bringing him into a tight hug. Ian hugged back and kissed the top of Max's head.

"Hey, love," Ian spoke softly. "I'm glad to see you again."

"I missed you so much," Max said, nearly breaking down. "You have no idea."

"I missed you just as much." Ian played with Max's dark curls, missing the feeling.

Max pulled back and smiled at Ian. "You've gotta meet my sister."

Ian nodded, feeling nervous. Max grabbed his hand and brought him over to the girl waiting a few yards away.

"Ian this is my sister, Miranda," Max introduced. "Miranda this is Ian."

(I made the name up btw)

"Nice to meet you," Ian said, putting out his hand for Miranda to shake.

"Nice to meet you too," she smiled and shook his head. Ian could tell they were siblings very easily, they had the same ocean eyes and their noses were identical copies. The main difference was her straightened hair as opposed to Max's playful curls.

"Thank you for letting me come see him."

"You're welcome," Miranda smiled. "Thank you for being there for him, it's very clear how happy you make him."

Ian nodded and took a hold of Max's hand. "I'm just as happy, he's really something."

"Oh stop," Max rolled his eyes. "You're just trying to be all nice in front of her."

"You known I like you." Ian wrapped his arms around Max and held him close, resting his head on Max's shoulder.

Miranda pulled out her phone and snapped a picture. "Sorry this is just too cute."

"You better not let mom and dad see that," Max warned.

"They don't look at my phone," Miranda rolled her eyes and put it away.

"Good," Max said. "I don't want them to ruin this again."

After getting lunch together Miranda reluctantly allowed Max to go to Ian's hotel room for a few hours.

The two were laying on the bed, Ian flag against the mattress and Max with his head on Ian's chest. Ian placed a gentle kiss on Max's forehead and Max smiled.

"I wish I could just live with you already," Max sighed. "I wish I was older."

"Don't wish that, enjoy being young."

"But I only enjoy it when I'm with you."

"You're so cute."

Max turned over and rested his chin on Ian so he could look up at him. "I mean it. My home life sucks, people at school are mean, I've it's finally given up on everything except you."

Ian reached his hand down and rested it on Max's cheek. "Just give it a few years and you'll be with me all the time and we'll be happy. I'll take care of you in any way that I can until then and you just have to promise me you'll keep trying until we get there."

"As long as I have you I'll be fine."
