"What?!?" I responded shocked, my eyes were bulging out and my mouth hanging wide open.
"How was your detention with Niall?" Liam replied chuckling.
"Horrible! That mouth of his got us 4 more bookshelves than needed!" I grumbled
"Sorry, sorry!" he said chuckling
"And you guys!! ditchers!" I yelled, we could've gotten 6 done if they were there!
"Hey, take a chill pill, it's not our fault" Harry said laughing
"It's not your fault?! then whose fault is it?" I practically screamed. almost simultaneously they looked at Liam
"Liam...." I said dangerously
"Well--" he started
"I told you! people don't appreciate you stealing their cars!" I sighed, "what did the court want? how much money? how did you crash their car?"
"I do not steal" he said indignantly " I borrow without asking and don't return it.
They wouldn't want it back anyway. but that's not the point!"
"Then what, In the name of Five Ways, IS the point?"
"I...umm, claire...umm, she" he started
"Claire.....? like my roomy Claire right?"
"Ya, that's the one" Niall replied. I looked up surprised
"When did you get here?!" I asked incredulously
"Just now actually" he replied. I have him a quizzical look and returned my attention to Liam
"Sooo? what about her?" I asked
"I asked her o-- I asked her to--- I a" he stumbled
" HE ASKED HER OUT!" Zayn finally yelled annoyed
"You what? What'd she say?" I ask, my eyes bulging out
"She, she said she didn't know." he stammered " told me she would tell me later." he said
I sighed, She was overprotective sometimes, but that's not why. she was already betrothed. betrothed to someone she doesn't know, yes, but still betrothed. Not in my place to say so, I just sympathized and comforted him. then a realization hit me. hard.
"How'd you guys get in my dorm?"
They gave me a cheeky smile and all of them bounced out the door, leaving me with my mouth wide open. as Niall was about to leave he poked his head back in, stuck his tongue out, then turned away and ran to the rest of 1D.
So immature I thought to myself, unaware of the smile creeping onto my face
