Constance Spark, 18. She lived in a small town in Canada, willing to do anything to keep her baby Lauren, alive. She worked as a waitress in a cheap restaurant in the morning and as a background dancer possibly for any artist that needed back up. It took her at least 4 hours just to beg one of the directors to giver her a chance to prove him wrong. And when she showed her amazing skills, the director quickly stood up and told her she got the job.
"And this is the only beginning of a great career young lady." He smiled and clapped his hands.
Constance Spark.
I woke up at my usual "get up" time which was 5 am in the morning. I hoped off of bed and made my way to the most beautiful baby, Lauren.
"Hi there Lau" I cooed as she batted her green eyes with a pinch of purple making it even more pretty. I placed my hand on her healthy belly rubbing it quite softly. Well in other words I was trying to sooth her. "How's my beautiful baby? And why'd you wake up so early?"
In response with locked fingers and giggled out of no where. I smiled at her reaction, being the proud mama I am. I glanced at the clock and sighed, it was 5:05 am already. I knew it was time for me to shower.
I hopped in my shower and squirted some lavender shampoo and massage it through my scalp. For some reason, I find showers really realxing, where you can remininsce about the past and everything you want to remember. With that, I thought about how my ex-boyfriend, Jake, just left his own child for another girl, whom I've spotted in my own bed making some "private business" with my boyfriend.
*FLASH BACK*
"Constance!" A cold and spine shrilling loud yell came from my boss. I was assuming it was the end of June which means, PAY DAY.
"Coming, Mabel.." I groaned. Though I was excited to get my salary.
I walked to the dirty kitchen wiping my wet hands against my lap covered with a blue bisected apron. I scrutinized what was going on, I saw my boss removing her hairnet letting her disastrous hairdo down. She was holding three envelopes, probably for other two co-workers, May Waters and George Mayer. May was my childhood friend, we went to kindergarden together. And up to now, we're still pretty good friends. She had brown eyes, extremely long eyelashes which she got from her dad, about 5'4 in height, mahogany fringe. George, well she's my bestfriend. She had dirty-blonde hair that landed just above her chest, though, I admire the thickness of it. Baby blue eyes, about the same height as me, 5'6. She decided to move in to our two-roomed apartment. I'm lucky she was there when my parents died because of an car accident, they were on the way to visit me here, but they ended up hitting a stupid tree while taking a great swerve. That memory still hurts me.
"Sadly, I'll have to give away the money I have worked hard for." Mabel sighed.
'You wish bitch' Of course, I didn't say that out loud, I didn't want to end the day not getting any of my hardwork.
"Anyways here's yours, May, George and Constance." I reached out for my share and thanked her. However, she didn't reply with a 'welcome' instead she rolled her eyes.
"What's up with her?" I whispered to George.
She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't even know, on her period I guess. She's always have been that moody, are you even Constance?"
Nice joke, George. I laughed silently keeping my eyes locked on my arrogant old boss who was making her way out of the kitchen. "I am, it's just that whenever we do something 'polite' she never did return it"
She looked at me. "Pretty much she'll go to hell when she dies."
I chuckled. "Oh George."
"What it's true." She replied.
