I Can See Ghosts

Neera

Neera is my childhood friend, she and I are very close, like sister, we share every secret except I don't share the secret that I see ghosts.

One of the secret she share with me is that she is in love with a boy name Mark Gilbert, the only problem is she is Indian and he is English, her parents will not approve. They keep there relationship a secret from her family. Only I am the one she confides.  Mark's family has accepted Neera in there family.

Mark wants to marry Neera and wants to meet Neera's family. Neera is scared of her family, she know she needs to tell the truth, but she is scared, she ask me to come with her to give her support.

Neera: "Dad and Mom I have something to tell you."

Mr. Sharma: "We want to share something with you to."

Neera: "What is it?"

Mr. Sharma: " We fix your marriage with Jai Walia, he is a multi billionaire and he ask your hand for marriage and we said yes."

Neera didn't know what to do so I told them..

Rosie: "Sorry Mr. Sharma before saying yes, didn't you think to ask your daughter if she wanted to marry Jai."

Mr. Sharma: "I know what is best for my daughter?"

And then a ghost enter...

Ghost: "Don't get your daughter married to him, he will use her and then he will dump her."

Rosie: "Do you know his background."

Mr. Sharma: "What is there not to know he is a billionaire and he wants to marry my daughter."

Ghost: "Please don't get your daughter married to that monster, he will destroy her the way he destroy me."

Rosie couldn't ignore this she could see how the ghost was crying for Mr. Sharma not to marry his daughter to Jai Walia. The ghost could see Rosie was watching her, she wanted to tell her side of the story, but later when she was alone. The ghost disappear..

Mr. Sharma: "What are you looking at, I'm over here. "

Rosie: "Sorry my mind just drifted, anyway I think your making a big mistake, you need to ask your daughter how she feels about this marriage."

Mr. Sharma: "I am her father, I know what's best for her, you can leave now."

Neera: "Come Rosie, let's go to my room."

Neera and Rosie go to Neera's room.

Rosie: "Could you get me glass of water."

Neera: " Sure, and thank for not telling about Mark."

Rosie: "I didn't want to cause problems for you, but what are you going to do?"

Neera: "All I know is if I don't marry Mark, I will end my life."

Rosie: "Don't say that, I'll do everything in my power to get you married to Mark."

Neera: "I'm glad I have you as a friend or else I would be lonely in this house, my parents don't understand me the way you do."

They hug and then Neera leaves to get Rosie a glass of water.

After Neera leaves the ghost appear face to face with Rosie.

Ghost: "I know you can see me, look you have to save Neera from that monster."

Rosie: "Who are you, and how do you know Jai Walia?"

Ghost: "My name is Gauri Mehta Walia, I am Jai Walia's wife, he married me, had his way then sold me to another  man, I ended my life because of it, I don't want the same fate for Neera, get her married to Mark fast before the parents destroy her life."

She disappears

Neera: " Here is the glass of water for you."

Rosie takes the water and tells her friend.

Rosie: "I think you and Mark should elope."

Neera: " But what about my parents, they will be very angry with me."

Rosie: " They will at first, but they will have to accept Mark when you are married to him."

Neera: "How are we going to do this, Mark wants to meet my parents and I know my parents will not approve."

Rosie: "I'll ask my dad to help you out, he consider you as a daughter so why not he play as your father."

Neera: "Will your father agree?"

Rosie: "My father is the only one who will understand why I'm doing this for you."

Neera: "Thank You so much, your the best."

Rosie: "I have to get you to stay at my house, so that our plan work."

Neera: "Dad is probably angry with you."

Rosie: "That is why I have to apologize, wish me good luck."

Rosie goes to the living room where Mr. Sharma was reading the newspaper

Rosie: "Mr. Sharma, I want to apologize for arguing about your daughter's marriage, you have the right to choose a husband for her."

Mr. Sharma: "I'm glad you agree, the wedding will be in three weeks."

Rosie was shocked, she needed to take Neera away from here, it was obvious they didn't know Jai Walia to much, they were going to get there daughter married to the stranger, without checking his background throughly. And what ever Gauri told her, she had to save her friend, before it is to late.

Rosie: "If it's okay with you can I take Neera to my house for a week, I want to spend time with her before she gets married."

Mr. Sharma: "You can take her for a week, I have no problem."

Rosie had 1 week to get Mark and Neera married, she would have to do it fast, but how was she going  to do it....
