I got a couple of notifications on my instagram while I was sleeping. My phone wouldn't stop going off with messages on messenger either. It was probably Wyatt, but I'd rather check them later.

I went downstairs at about 2:03 a.m. to get some breakfast, and a head start on the big day. Just as I turned the corner, my mother barged into me causing me to jump. We both screamed, then slightly chucked at each other.

"Get packing young lady, we're going to the hotel." I smiled walking back up the stairs to my room. I could honestly care less about my breakfast right now. I'll just grab a hot pocket at the market with an orange juice.

After twenty minutes of packing, I decided to check my phone. I tapped the chat icon on the corner of my screen, and started reading.

My heart fluttering, I grabbed my three bags of clothes and other things that I obviously needed to bring. Making my way down the stairs lazily, and tired, I closed my door and walked down the stairs.

Tripping over the last step, I fall with all my bags on top of me. "F👑 biTCh!!!" I whisper shout. "Watch your profanity!" My mom peeps around the corner, her short hair in her face. I take my bags and toss them at her.

"Mother--" "trucker!" I interrupt her in mid sentence. She looks at me sideways,"you said watch your profanity. Just making sure you follow exactly what you set for me. It's not fair for you to, but not me."

"Let's just go Lex." She says to me chuckling lightly. "Just sayin'." I say once she opens the door, then closes it tightly. We get into the car and it gets really quiet.

"FIVE! FOUR! THREE, TWO, ONE! ---"
"OH NO LEX --" "TOO LATE!" "WE'RE GOIN ON A TRIP IN OUR FAVORITE ROCKET SHIP! ZOOMIN THROUGHT THE SKYYYY! LITTLE EINST--" The radio turned off. "OOF! MAAAA!! You killed my vibe, dog!"

She just laughs at the road. "you're nuts, mom." I say. "Excuse me?" She says breaking the silence moments later. "you're laughing at nothing. The road isn't lauging with you. You're driving on it, it's triggered. "

Moments of the silent drive to the hotel, I quickly turned up the volume before she spoke. "Omg Le--" "FIVE! FOUR! THREE, TWO, ONE!"

It was honestly way too early, but didn't care. I was so excited for comic con today. I'll be wondering if Wyatt knows that I like him back.
