Hey so this like the fault in our stars sequel, so here is chapter one!
Standing in a crowd of people who can actually breath is very awkward. Especially if they are all of your mom's friends, in which case they are.
My mom decided she wanted to throw an 'i'm a Patrick now' party. Most of the time i just helped pour punch, but then my dad told me to go have fun. So i did and now i'm here watching people laugh and congratulate my mom. Which tends to be the exact opposite of fun.
Then Augustus' parents come. They make a bee line straight for me. For ME, not my mom, but me. I'm not implying that's awkward between us, but having someone make a bee line directly at you is.
"Hi, just Hazel! Thank you for inviting us. This is very exciting for your mother. We thought we might just give this to your family." his dad says as he pulls out a pillow. An encouragement. "We new you liked them, so we made you one." I take the pillow and look at it. It has cream in the center and a red braid sewn in at the edges. Then i look at the writing, Don't reach for the stars, reach for an unknown galaxy.
"It's, It's beautiful. I love it." i reply back. I really do love it, it just seems weird they would give it to me and not my mother.
Before sayng anything else they walk over to mom. I sigh and text ( he got a phone where he just has to speak into it do whatever he wants the phone to do) Issac hey. He replies back with a hey want to come over 2night after dinner to play the price of dawn. Now it's back to me with sure see u then.
And now it's back to pouring punch until dinner.
