On Christmas Eve night, when I'd of much rather been sleeping,I had promised to stay up and facetime Lucas at midnight. Seen as though we hadn't managed to see each other lately, also to trade presents,we needed to catch up and share our fesitive spirit somehow. It's been over a month since I last saw him in person,i miss him so much. I know that I have Ellie, but we aren't as close as Lucas and I are. I mean, she has other friends and does other stuff, where as I just had them, and now only her. I was glad I now had Brad too,but the same goes for him,he has another life outside of knowing me.

Anyway,as I was saying,I'd got into my Christmas patterend red onsie, made a hot chocolate to warm me up as I was cold-also because mine earlier on went too cold to drink-and went up to my bedroom where I got into bed. I snuggled up in my thick duvet so that I was extremely comfy and then looked at my phone to see that-great timing I know-a familiar face was wanting to video call me. I quickly slid across my screen to accept his call, where a very smily lucas appeared on my screen.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS" he practically screamed at me,making me realise my volume was a bit too loud.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO!" I replied doing the same,as I was excited at the fact that it was Christmas. I was surprisingly awake saying it was after 12am.

"I feel like we haven't properly spoken in so long! How are you?" he asked

"I know,I miss you a lot!" I stated, pulling an over the top sad face, "Oh and I'm good, how's life in London treating you?"

"I miss you so much, especially that face of yours" he responded, beginning to laugh as he mocked my facial expression. "and it's good, although it'd be a whole lot better if you were here"

"I'd happily join you" I laughed, "I can't wait to see you soon"

"Me neither,we need to make it soon"

"We do,so has anyhting interesting happened in your life whilst you've been away?"

"Nah not really, school's the same as always-shit"

Lucas was really loud in school and practically hated the place, even though he was actually really smart and got good grades. It doesn't make any sense I know.

"Awh,there isn't that long left anyway" I reasurred him.

"True, what about you? Has anything changed?" he said,as he raised his eyebrows at me.

"No not really" I knew what he was thinking,we text a lot and so I'd obviously told him about Brad, and like all friends do,they expect you to be dating anyone you're friends with. Which wasn't the case with either Brad or Lucas.

"Are you sure? What's going on with you and Brad?" he questioned, his eyebrows still raised and a smirk appearing on his face.

"Nothing like that,we're just good friends, that's all" I replied, raising my eyebrows back at him, "What about you, have you made any friends?"

"I saw on your twitter that he was at yours today...it sounded a fun day" he said, still with a smirk plastered across his face, " and not really, there's this guy called Jack that seems alright"

"Yeah,he just turned up and brought me gift,it was a bracelet. It was sweet" I smiled, "I'm glad you have someone"

"That's so cute!" he said aww-ing at me, "and so am I,but no one will ever replace you"

We spoke for over two hours about literally anything and everything. I'd loved speaking to him, even if I weren't with him,it still felt so nice. It was around half past two in the morning when we'd said our goodbyes and I'll miss you's,so I decided to sleep.
