One a dark, grey night, Mia and I was sitting on the soft, grassy fields gazing up above the sky.
Stars were glimmering and the moon was shining brightly. It was obvious that the cloud had covered most of the sky, since we had seen a ton of pale, red clouds.
"Hey, Mia, are you ready?" I asked her, hands shaking, legs trembling.
"Ready for the fireworks show? Hell yeah!" She beamed, taking out the fireworks. (I don't exactly know what they're called, please excuse me.)
Ah, the beautiful fireworks shot up the sky, bringing people attention.
The neighborhood lights lit up beautifully while the fireworks continued to explode in the sky.
Me and Mia jaws' dropped as everyone started walking around us. Strangely, a tall figure stood in front of us, and outstreched his hand.
"Great job!" He said, smiling with joy.
We realised it was just Jamie, giving us another great compliment.
The fireworks were filled with sparkling stars and glitter.

Mia and I went back to each other's house and took a long nap, since we were exhausted from setting up the fireworks display.
"Mother, can you bring me a glass of water, please?" I sighed, trying to keep my pair of eyes open.
"Sure my dear! Just give me a few minutes." She replied, walking into the kitchen to wash the dishes.
I wondered how long it took for her to do all the chores, actually.
"Here's your glass of fresh water. If you need me, I'll be downstairs." My mother said, handing me the glass cup, which was filled with water.
I smiled back at her and drank the water. Wow, it tastes good, I thought to myself happily.
I wished the fireworks display lasted forever.
