2. His name is Kang Dongho

'Wait what?'

"Please introduce yourself"

Guanlin examines the man in front of him: a very well-build man, shorter than him, masculine and handsome, amazing jawline, finely cut hair, strong gaze in his eyes but he has one of the sweetest smile that Guanlin ever saw in his life. Did korean male ever smile that... cute?
The male bows in front on Guanlin, giving a slightly awkward smile.

"My name is Kang Dongho, and I am your bodyguard" he speaks kind of slowly, seems like he's anxious about meeting Guanlin now. "I'm looking forward to work with you."

Guanlin tries to absorb the information he has. This Kang Dongho man, who has better built, handsome and manly appearance, really looks appealing, and had a chance to gain girls (even older females)' hearts—becoming his bodyguard? What kind of world he's living right now?
The Taiwan boy breaks his mind as the manager stares at him for being silence. He replies with a deep bow to the latter.

"Annyeonghaseyo" Guanlin replies, then looks at him with a smile "It's a pleasure to work with you, too."

"Kang Dongho's work here is to protect you whenever you're going out from the entertainment building" the manager says as he checks his phone "We need to do this so that sasaeng fans or anti-fans won't attack you when you're vulnerable. It will be a chaos if they attacks you when I'm not around"

"Ah, I see...." Guanlin says with a nod. If that's Dongho's main task, then Guanlin can assure himself that he is 99% safe and he is happy because he has a companion whenever he's lonely (since Seonho is still busy with training and he will be busy with his solo schedule). He has no friends other than Seonho, plus trying to get Pentagon Wooseok's attention is really a futile work for him, so he won't try it anymore.

Anyway, why did he even try it in the first place?

"I may not look after you often, but I entrust the task to him." The manager says, and then he looks at Dongho. "Kang Dongho, please protect Lai Guanlin."

"Yes I will" the male says, ending the conversation.

And so Guanlin goes back to the recording room, while his manager takes Dongho to somewhere else.

After the long recording time, Guanlin realizes that it's already night-- 10.30PM to be very exact. He is truly hungry, that he just wants to eat something different than regular chicken and rice, that his manager always brings to him whenever he works until late at night.

So by that, he asks permission from his manager to grab some 24-hours Chinese fast food 2 blocks from the entertainment building. His manager permits him, and then sends Dongho to accompany him (since his manager needs to work on something else).

"Sorry if I bother you" Guanlin says, knowing that it's really late and Dongho may be busy with another stuff.
"No it's fine, Lai Guanlin-ssi" Dongho shakes his head, covering his smile. "It's my job to accompany you wherever you go."

"Even to my bedroom?"

Dongho gives slight shocks in his face. Guanlin chuckles a bit, and then grabs his stuffs. "I'm kidding-- Manager will kill me and you if I allow you to do so. Let's go"

Both of them walk to the restaurant. The midst of cold night and bright streetlights colors the empty street, with only both of them walking on it. At some point, Guanlin enjoys the silence and the beauty beneath the sparks in the streetlights—but he wasn't sure if his bodyguard enjoys it.
