Chapter 7

The fall of Overwatch and the betrayal of one of it's leaders Gabriel Reyes was devastating to all of it's members their family. Fareeha had gotten word of a woman with a healing sniper who had been recognized as a vigilante had been spotted near the base she used to guard and trained at in Egypt. Pharah left leaving Angela to take care of the injured people and no matter how hard Angela tried to go with Fareeha she wouldn't do it for the sake of the other family members needing help.

"No Gabe you idiot why did you have to be so stupid and stubborn." Angela said as she looked at the lifeless body of Gabriel Reyes.

"I know you wouldn't want this but you're giving me no choice." Angela said as she touched his slightly deformed face.

Mercy then prepared her revive.

Death, Death is ok as long as I brought Jack with me. Gabe thought as he drifted into the after life. Just as he was about to go he felt himself being pulled back into existence. Gabe opened his eyes and coughed and gasped for air.

"Gabe I." Angela was cut off as Gabriel grabbed her neck and threw her against a wall.

"Why, why did you do this to me." Gabriel said.

"Gabe I just wanted to save you." Angela said.

"You should have just let me die." Gabe said as he turned into a gaseous form and flew out of the small room they were hiding in. 

Angela fell to her knees shedding tears, she escaped the scene herself after to avoid any of the heavy after math. Well more than what she already had. Mercy knew she had to vanish but first she had some unfinished business, in Egypt.
