(Park Mina)

"That couldn't have been it, Mina! Why would you have to be alone for homework help?" Aera said. "Because you're too much of a distraction!" I replied, hoping she would stop. Aera faked a cough. "Me? A distraction? Pfftt"

I cleared my throat. "So, about the pro-" I started, but Baek-Hee cut me off. "Project? Yeah, about that. How in the hell are we going to manage to beat bitch one and bitch two?" She said sassily.

"I don't think that the point is to beat them, Baek-Hee." Ji-Eun said. "As long as our dance is good, we'll be okay."

"But think about it! If we get a lower grade than them, we'll never hear the end of it!" Baek-Hee argued. She was right. Nayeon would constantly taunt all of us about it. Winning wouldn't be good either. "If we win, Nayeon will do anything to ruin our lives." I added, speaking quietly. "I guess we can just see what happens." Ji-Eun said with a reassuring smile.

-6 hours later-

(Yoon Jeonghan)

"So what'd you think of Mina? Doesn't she seem great?" I asked Joshua as I nudged his shoulder. His face lit up at the mention of her name. "Yeah! I'm really excited to get to know her. She seems very innocent and sweet." Joshua said with a smile. "I'm glad you think that way, she'll be with us for a long time."

He nodded and we continued walking. "Did you have any luck finding out who is sending you those love letters?" A familiar voice from behind us said. We turned around to see our friend Jihoon. Joshua chuckled, "Not yet. I'm working on it."

"Will you ever consider dating this person?" Jihoon added on to his question. I looked at Joshua, waiting for an answer along with our pink-haired friend. He sighed. "Maybe, it depends."

"On what?" I suddenly said, not realizing that I had just thought out loud. "What's with the questions? You guys have never been this curious about my love life before." Joshua said in confusion.

I chuckled. "Maybe because its about time you get yourself a girlfriend."

"I'm just waiting for the right person to come along." Joshua shrugged.

Joshua has been 'waiting' for the right person ever since freshman year. He has turned down every girl that has ever confessed to him. He had told us its because those girls are the ones who have a reputation for cheating on their boyfriends; which is true. Plus, none of the girls had actually shown an actual interest in him. They had never looked at him like they adored him.

Which is why Mina caught my attention. I've seen her placing a note on his desk before, yet I still want Mina to tell him herself. I had been watching her for weeks now, and she looks at him in ways she looks at no one else. She looks at him, and her face lights up. Her smile becomes brighter than the sun. Her brown eyes are full of love. She looks at him like he put the stars in the sky. It's truly amazing.

I just want the best for Joshua. I want him to have a girl, that without a doubt, loves him to pieces. He's like a brother to me, he deserves the best of the best; and Mina is it.

"You've been telling us that for the past three years, Josh. I'm starting to think you're going to die alone" Jihoon joked. We laughed at his comment. "We're only juniors in high school, Jihoon-ah. I have time." Joshua replied.

We continued walking down the dark and quiet street until we heard someone yelling. "I'll be fine, unnie!" the voice yelled out. I laughed when I soon found out that this voice belonged to the one and only Park Mina.

"Yes, yes I know. Let me go!" She whined. "You're not my mom, Aera!" I laughed a bit more as we started to approach the house the voice was coming from. The friend she had with her earlier was holding her wrist, keeping Mina from leaving.

"No! I can't let my little baby go off in the dark alone!" The friend said, trying to pull her inside. "I'm not a baby!" Mina argued back.

I was so amused watching Mina struggle, I didn't even notice Joshua walking up to the door where Mina and her friend were standing.

"I can take her home, no worries." Joshua spoke up, smiling at the two girls. Mina's friend looked at Joshua with a suspicious look. "And who might you be?" She snapped. Mina yanked her wrist out of her friends hand. "H-He's my friend" She said, blushing.

"Oh. So be it then. I'll see you tomorrow, Mina" Her friend said, and finally went inside, leaving Mina with us.

"I should get going" Mina said quietly, but loud enough for us to hear. "No, its okay. Come with us." I said, hoping she would agree.

"No, I don't want to be a burden." She finished off, and started walking away, fast.

"I'll go with her, I'll see you guys tomorrow." Joshua said, and before we could say anything, he was off as well.
