departure

so this is gonna start from when she is like 10-11 years old

so she had her wolf quirk since she was born so she knows how to use it

this is when luna gets her second quirk

her friend is named rose and she has a fox quirk

cause im fuckin bad at explainin

"get back here!" i bark, trying to catch my friend.

"NO i wont let you catch me!! " she mockingly yells back as she runs to a huge tree

i run as fast as i can to try and catch her with my short little legs.

rose starts climbing up the tree that she ran too with my right behind her.

"she wont get me up here" she pants while griping a branch.

i stealthily crawl towards her with out making any noise.

"boo" i whisper into her pointed ears.

i see her tense up and screech, making me laugh extremely hard, I start snorting. rose makes a pouty face as i tag her.

"stop laughing! its not funny!" she yells at me and hits me on my arms.

"you should 've seen the look on your face" i cackle and put my hands over my mouth.

"hmph" rose huffs angrily as she turns her head away. i turn and sit on the branch swinging my legs, and looking up at the sky.

the sun slowly starts to set

"Hey, lu-chan?" rose says quietly. i turn to look her way, giving her a questioning look.

"hmm?" i cock my head, my fluffy ears on top of my head swivel to the direction of her voice.

her ears were down, she was crying.

why....why is she crying?

"will...will we still be friends even if we don't see each other for a long time?" rose whimpers as she look towards me, hands shaking, snot dripping from her button nose.

oh................ i forgot she was moving today.......this is the last time ill be seeing her.

I frown as I see the sad look on her face. I don't like seeing her upset.

I lean in and move my hands towards her face, wiping away the tears.

I look down, my hair covering my eyes.

"why would you even ask a dumb question like that?" i laugh, getting a surprised look from rose.

"H-huh?" Rose sniffles, and wipes her eyes of tears.

I take a necklace out of my hoodie pocket and hand it to her. It had a design of a little fox that had a rose in its mouth with her name engraved into it.

"Here. I want you to have this. Since you got me one I decided to return the favor by making this for you to remember me by" I grinned, placing the necklace in her hands.

rose looked at the necklace in awe "its beautiful!! thank you!" rose puts on the necklace.

"rose! its time to go!" roses mother yells out into the woods we were at. I turn to see roses shoulders sagging, her eyes tearing up again.

"i-im gonna mis-s you.." rose wimpers and hugs me tightly. i hug her back, tears gathering up in my eyes.

"i am too... but don't worry we'll find each other again in the future" i pull back from her, grab her hands one last time.

"ROSE!" a loud yell erupts in a distance.

"a-ah COMING MOM" rose wipes her eyes and stands up on the branch. i start standing up and climbing down the branch, rose follows.

as my feet and roses feet hits the ground rose starts running to her house.

"SEE YOU IN THE FUTURE!!" i scream out to her as she disappears down the road.
