"Order... ORDER!... SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Yelled the king. All heads turned to face him, both Generals and their wives. "This is no time for talk, only actions, the enemy is upon us. We thought the Demons where enough. Now GODS!" His voice bellowed through the hall.                      "He's right, we lost hundreds of thousands in the last week, the Demons are growing, their being created stronger and now we have the God of DEATH at our door" as those last words escaped General Proelium the hall fell into a deathly silence. "We have to stockpile, make barricades, wait for them to come to us, it is the only option. We have to prepare!" All the Generals heads nodded with agreement. The king sat in silence, he knew this was the only way, yet the people, they would demand answers...                                                                                                                  "Generals, spread word, to every town and city, send ravens and messengers. Get all civilians that are capable to fight trained. All food stored, all materials gathered. Build higher walls, more houses out of stone and lumber. Forge armour stronger than obsidian, forge swords sharp enough to cut the very air. Get all the elders, women, children, and poorly inside the palace chambers, change the rooms into hospitals for those in need. We prepare." for moments the others in this hall let that cover them, they all stood up, bowed and left "James! You stay!" General Proelium turned and meet his old friend. "Send scouts, only the quickest and most skilled. And old friend. Stay safe" as James strode out the hall the king sat in silence. Nothing could prepare him for this upcoming slaughter house.

"James! What happened?" Skye said, she looked up to him with large eyes. Every time he looked at her he smiled. He had the most beautiful wife. Her hair was soft like silk and golden like the sun. Her eyes opened wide each time she saw him. They say that if your pupil wides to the one they love, it's true.
"A grand war is coming. Gods have risen and Demons are advancing" his voice was like a boulder over a snail. "We must prepare for thi..." a kiss broke the sentence. Her lips were like kissing the heavens.
"Then let's make the most of the time we have..." she muttered into his ear. She lightly grabbed his hand and took him home.
