Tori's POV

Me and Hayes left Ryan's house at around 4:00. We went back to my house afterwards. We didn't know what to do so we decided just to watch a movie. "You can pick one awhile. I'm gonna go upstairs and change." I said. Hayes nodded and started looking through my movies. I walked down the hall from the movie room to my bedroom. I picked some spandex, a sports bra, and a nike t-shirt to put on. I changed and then walked down the hallway to my parents room. I walked in and only my mom was there. She looked up and smiled at me.

"Hey sweetie." she said. I smiled. "Hey mom. Me and Hayes are gonna be in the movie room. Is that ok?" She smiled and nodded. "Yeah thats fine honey. Just be done in there before 11? I'm having someone over tonight." she said. Wait, does she have a...boyfriend? If she does, why did she never mention it to me? I didn't think she was ever going to date someone. Well dmy dad left us over two years ago. So I guess she had to have moved on at some point. I juat nodded and walked down the hall back to the movie room.

I walked in and as soon as I did I couldnt take my eyes off of a certain someone. Hayes was slowly sliding his shirt off. He pulled it over his head, and threw ur on the floor. He looked up at me and smiled. "I picked a horror movie. Is that ok?" he asked. "Yeah I guess." I said. I hate horror movies.I always scream and act like a 5 year old. He smiled and sat down in one of the chairs. He patted the spot next to him and I sat down next to him.

About halfway through the movie I was scared out of my mind, and my whole body was under a blanket. Hayes noticed, and put the arm rest that was separating us up. He slid over closer to me and wrapped an arm protectively around me. I pulled my head out of the blanket and smiled at him. I then kissed his cheek, and laid my head on his shoulder.

The movie ended after what seemed like forever. I looked up at Hayes, and then got up and turned off the tv. Hayes got up as well and we went to the kitchen. He pulled out his phone to check the time. 10:49. "I should probably get going. It's pretty late." he said. I frowned. He gave me a questioning look when he noticed. "Could you please stay?" I asked. He smiled and kissed my cheek. "Of course. Just let me text my mom and tell her." he said. I smiled and nodded my head.

He texted his mom and she said that he could stay. We went up to my bedroom so that my mom could be with her boyfriend. Hayes decided he wanted to take a quick shower, so he was in my bathroom. I sat down on my bed and just started thinking. About anything. Everything. Then, the thing that was bothering me the most popped into my head. My mom and her boyfriend.

I mean how could she be over dad? I get that he left us for a woman half his age, but I still love him, and I thought she did too. I don't want to have another member in our family. Things have been going great with just me and mom. I didn't realize it, but by now I was crying. A few moments later, I looked up to see Hayes standing in front of me, looking very worried.

"What's wrong?" he said. I couldn't even talk about it to Hayes. And he's my best friend. Then again I've never been good at talking to people about what I'm feeling and thinking. Hayes sat down in front of me on the bed. He reached out and grabbed both of my hands in his. "Whatever it is, you can tell me." he said looking into my eyes. I sighed and thought for a minute about what to say. Then I spoke.

"I just don't want my mom to have a boyfriend." I said. "How come?" he asked. "Because I don't want anything to change again. I'm tired of change all the time.Things are just starting to be normal again, and it's gonna change." I explained. He sighed and said "Listen, sometimes change can be a good thing. You just have to give it time. And he seems like he's a good guy. You should be happy for your mom. Because she would do the same for you. I can't promise you that things won't be broken sometimes, but I swear that I will never leave your side no matter what." Another tear slid down my cheek as I smiled at him.

I leaned forward and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my waist. We talked for a little bit longer. Then we laid down and went to bed. Hayes had his arms wrapped around my waist. My head was rested on his bare chest. I felt him kiss my forehead. I smiled and kissed his chest. And that's all I remember before I fell asleep.
