Me and Lockwood stood awkwardly for a couple minutes before I stood up and walked to the kitchen to make some tea. Lockwood followed. I put the tea water on and Lockwood took out two tea cups and put a tea bag in each. I reached over to grab the biscuits at the same time he did, our fingers brushed. I turned away so he couldn't see how red my face was. I had held hands with him before but for some reason this was different. The tea pot whistled. I busied myself pouring tea, Lockwood set the biscuits out onto a plate. We sat and drank our tea in an awkward but companionable silence. I stood up and walked into the living room. I sat on the couch and picked up my sketch book. I started to draw but I just could not concentrate. "Did you have fun with Lockwood?" I jumped and looked around before realizing it was just skull. "We just had tea." I said. "Just tea huuuu. Nothing else?" The skull said giving me its best quizzical look. "No! Nothing else!" I said defensively. I stood up and walked over to the skull and shut the latch. I was done listening to its teasing. Lockwood walked in just as I was sitting back onto the couch. Instead of sitting in his chair he picked up a gossip magazine and sitting on the other end of the couch. I moved so that I was sitting right next to him. "Anything interesting?" I asked. "Oh not really." Said Lockwood. "Just the usual party's and galas." I could feel my self getting sleepy. I yawned and picked up a cheap thriller from the coffee table. I started to read.

I must have drifted of because when I woke up in the morning I was still on the couch. My head was resting on Lockwood's chest and Lockwood was lying sprawled gracefully across the arm of the couch, his arm around my shoulder.  There was a blanket lying over us that I knew had not been there last night. George. I turned crimson just thinking about the fact that George had seen me and Lockwood sleeping together on the couch. I told myself that the reason I did not get up from the couch the minute I woke up was because I did not want to wake Lockwood. The real reason was that I was to comfy. Lockwood's arm around my shoulder was warm. My side pressed against his. His coat was ruff on my cheek. I rubbed my face against his coat, breathing in his smell. "Good morning Luce." I jumped. I could feel Lockwood's chest rumble as he chuckled softly. I sat up hurriedly. Lockwood slowly withdrew his arm from around my shoulders. Holly bustled through the door. "Oh good. You'r awake. We have a client coming in half an hour, you should probably go upstairs and get dressed." "Thanks Holly." Said Lockwood rubbing his eyes. "Im going to go take a shower." I stood up. "I think i'll go get some breakfast. Is George up?" I asked."Yes, he's been up for hours."Holly said as if it was obvious. Lockwood headed upstairs. "Oh." I said, realizing that both George and Holly had seen us on the couch together. I hurried into the kitchen.
