It was a fine summer evening.Wind was blowing,sun was shining and the people were chatting happily.Among these people were two girls,they were not what you call ordinary.They were witches but they didn't know that.They thought they were normal girls,who hated school and studies.Loved playing pranks on people and many other things.But most of all they couldn't stand their classmate,they literally loathed her.In their opinion she was the biggest jerk who just wanted attention and didn't knew anything(even though she was only 11).
They always thought their parents were weirdos as they would wear long robe sort of things to work and would be in the office(God knows where it is)in minutes.And,yeah both their parents were the best of friends who would always come to each others house for an evening coffe.While,the girl would go to the park or watch movies and stuff.
At the moment the two frinds Humna and Maryam were at the park gossiping about their favourite celebrity and also plotting ways to murder their classmate Rosaline, not knowing that their lives would entirely change after this evening.While,they were talking about stupid stuff,there parents were discussing whether or not it is a right time to tell their daughters about them being witches.Humna and Maryam were totally unaware of them being witches.
"Do you know how cute Greyson Chance is?"said Humna literally bouncing up and down on the bench they were sitting on.Maryam rolled her eyes."Obviously,i do.That's why i'm always talking about him."She replied in a duh sort of voice.Humna giggled at this and started somewhat lamely"Oh,yeah.I jus....."but whatever she was about to say turned into a scream.Two very large owls had landed on their laps.
"What the-"Humna said shocked.
"Hell are-"Maryam said shocked too.
'owls doing here at this time of the day"They fineshed the sentence in union but still in shock though.They thought'a sign of true friendship,talking unison.They both grinned at each other then started laughing like mad.They both had completely forgotten about the owls until...
"Argh,they are pecking me.....gerrem oof me,gerrem oof meeee"Maryam started shouting like crazy.Humna being a bit sensible-yeah only a bitsensible tried to keep her quiet as she saw that her idiot of a friend was drawing too much attention to themselves.Humna just had a feeling that whatever this is about,this is somthing the people around them should not know.And this shpcked her.
'Will you shut up,girl.Can't you see they want you to take that paper attached to their legs"Maryam stopped shouting,looked at her friend then at the owls and sure enough there was a paper.They carefully detached the paper,and as soon they did that the oels flew away.On looking closer at the paper they saw it was a letter,which was written on a thick piece of paper with green shiny ink.'What an odd way of sending a letter'they both thought and looked at each other before opening the letter.
They saw that only the names were different,as the address was the same.They wondered why as the don't live together(the address was Humna's.)
"Why do you think...."Maryam started.
"The letters have the same address"Humna completed her sentence.Neither of them laughed nor smiled."I don't know"She added
'humph' was all that maryam said they both openend the letter and frowned as the letter was the same again except the name.The letter read:
