Way of the Alpha:Book 1

Chapter 1:Freshman Year

"I can't believe it darling but you're so grown up!" Mum was hugging me tightly like I'm not going to see her again. "Mum calm down at the end of the first term I'll comeback." I gave mum a family picture to know that I'm here for her but I had to go to my dorm as I carried my suitcase and bag.

When I arrived at my dorm I unpacked my things and then grab a snack from my bag. I panted, munching on my muesli bar and sipping my ice coffee. As I finish unpacking their were 3 more hours before my first class so I decided to take a stroll around the school and grab my schedule sheets from the office. The school was marvellous. I strolled down a concrete path with a row of bushes around the path and in the middle of the path was a fountain and when you pass it you see 2 large pillars with each side having the statues of a lion.

But when I enter the school building , there were 2 stairways coming down from the second floor and 2 hallways from each side of the place . There were also 2 lounge areas and their were banners that were written , "WELCOME FRESHMAN TO LINKRE SENIOR CAMPUS!". I walked through the hallways and saw all sorts of rooms such as , club rooms, classrooms, maker spaces ,study hubs, home rooms , gyms and offices. But I had to go to the office so I bolted on. When I arrived their I questioned the reception . " Excuse me but I'm Viola Rawlinson and I would like to collect my schedule for my classes miss." I payed my hand on the desk as I took a view on left of the reception desk. "Oh you're Ms Rawlinson , the one who made top score in your scholarship test here, well here is your schedule papers , textbooks and guide to the school and I hope you will enjoy being in Linkre senior campus!" Reception handed me my supplies but then she went off, writing and contacting people .

As I got out , I spotted the cafeteria. The food their at the cafe looked mouthwatering so I walked their but I was then approached by someone, "Um excuse me but do you know where is the cafe?" A boy touched my shoulder , he had black hair flicking to the side and blue , dazzling eyes that I can't really resist. "Oh um I know where the cafe is , just follow me." I was a bit wary but we walked together to the cafe and we ordered our food. When we were finish having our snacks we went for our first class.

"Thanks for helping me, by the way I'm Alec Dandridge, how about you?" Alec's face was starting to have pieces of red on his face but I noticed that he had had a scratch on the back of his neck. "Oh hi Alec, my name is Viola Rawlinson, by the way what's that scar you have on the neck?"
"Oh that's nothing, a stray dog scratch me when I was 10." He chuckled peculiarly , he seems that his hiding something and that scratch seemed more severe than just a dog scratch.

"Oh our class is about to start! Come on we need to get in." He gently put his arm around my shoulder and we entered in.
