Chapter 3

Author's Note

It's the 20th of October. You know what that means.

It's the 2nd Anniversary of TWICE! Happy TWICE day! I am so grateful for these 9 girls making amazing music and doing ridiculous things to make us laugh. Every day their hard work shows their dedication to their fans. TWICE is talented, beautiful, and gay, and for that, we love them. Happy TWICE day, ONCEs! This is to two and hopefully many more years of TWICE!

"Hey," Dahyun said, leaning down to kiss Sana on the lips right in front of Tzuyu.

Tzuyu averted her eyes, trying to ignore the aching feeling like someone stabbing a hot knife into her heart. 'Sana unnie, if only you knew what you do to my heart,' Tzuyu thought.

"Sana, do you want to go to the shopping mall with me this Saturday?" Tzuyu asked. It took all of her courage to say that out loud.

Over the past few months, her and Sana have started being friends again after drifting apart for such a long time. Tzuyu knew what she was doing to herself for hanging out with Sana but a part of her just wanted her best friend back.

"Sorry, I can't," Sana responded to Tzuyu's invite, grabbing Dahyun's hand. "I'm going to the park with this beautiful girl on Saturday," she said, pecking Dahyun on the lips.

The knife that Sana had put in Tzuyu's heart twisted even deeper.

"Okay," she said. Hopefully she didn't come off as too upset. She didn't want Sana to think she was that desperate.

She was surprised when she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Aw, cheer up," Dahyun said. "You can hang out with her later, right? You two are best friends." Dahyun emphasised the word "friends" and Tzuyu's blood ran cold when she saw Dahyun smirk.

She couldn't possibly know, could she?

"Bye Yoda!" Sana said happily as she and Dahyun left Tzuyu in the library. Just before they reached the exit, Tzuyu saw Dahyun turn around and Tzuyu saw a glint in her eye that she didn't like.

Dahyun winked at her.

Tzuyu had no idea what it meant but she had a feeling it wasn't something good.

"Hey," I'm just going to go to the bathroom," Sana said, heading off. She left Tzuyu and Dahyun alone at their table in the ice cream shop.

Tzuyu was third wheeling for, she didn't even know how many times now but she could tell it was a lot. Tzuyu really wanted to spend time with Sana alone but Dahyun was always there.

She really didn't want to lose Sana this time so she would agree to go with both her and Dahyun to places. Tzuyu hated the awkwardness, especially since she thought Dahyun knew about her feelings for Sana.

"So, you seem to have a little crush on Sana," Dahyun said. There it is.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Tzuyu said. Dahyun could not know about this. She'd tell Sana and all hell would break loose.

"You think I'm blind?" Dahyun said gently at first.

Tzuyu shook her head. This wasn't the Dahyun she knew when she first met her. This Dahyun was angry, possessive.
