minghao was walking through the dormitory halls, on the way to the vending machine at the end of the hall.

it was his day off but he didn't really want to do anything. he wanted to nap mostly.

suddenly, he heard soft sniffles. they were loud enough for him to hear though. he frowned. it sounded like a girl. who could be here in the dorms?

he walked towards the sound, it seemed to be coming from the back stairs. the sobs got louder.

he finally saw who it was, crying. suyeon.

" suyeon? why are you crying? don't cry ", minghao's eyes widened a little. he sat beside her and gently pat her back.

suyeon looked up weakly and sobbed even more.

" hao... gyu broke up with me ", suyeon muttered.

minghao frowned even more. how could mingyu have broken up with someone like suyeon?

" what did he say? ".

" he said that it wasn't going to work anymore. he said no matter how much we meet and try to talk to each other, our schedules are always getting in the way... ", she started ," he promised he wouldn't leave. i've never been so hurt by him before, hao. it hurts me too much ".

" suyeon.. i'm so sorry ", minghao embraced her. she looked and felt so fragile. the break up really hurt her bad.

but minghao felt that he told her now. he loved her and he couldn't bear to see her hurt like this.

" suyeon... try it with me ", he mumbled out.

" w-what? ", suyeon looked up at him.

" i'll pick you up piece by piece. i'll fix your broken heart. i'll never hurt you. i promise. just try it with me, for once ", minghao almost pleaded. he wanted to tear up but in front of the love his life? no.
