15: Nightmare Virus?!

Heyyo! I'm alive! I was sick because Neru just HAD to trick me and Kaito. But I'm fine now! Anywho, I got inspired when I was reading some.................... (BEEEP) X Reader books..... And... Hopefully I won't accidentally say it in some of the future chapters and... Yeah....

I wrote a halloween special (Doesn't effect the future chapters) .. But guess what...?

3rd Person POV

Beep Beep Beep

The sound echoed in the room. The Vocaloid crew were quiet as they watched their friend laying on the bed. Her chest going up and down. Len was worried. He didn't bother to look at the crew. He only faced down. It was silent before one of the creators entered the room, Subaru Natsuki. He made Sakura that's why he's here. He sadly entered the room, Len quickly stood up and asked Subaru if Sakura was fine. "I-is Sakura alright?" Asked Len. Subaru looked at him worriedly then sighed. "Don't freak out but..." Subaru trailed off. "Sakura has caught the Nightmare Virus." He finished, Luka gasped and Len looked at Subaru with a puzzled face. "What's a Nightmare Virus? Does that mean she will always have Nightmares?" Len questioned. Subaru shooked his head. "What does it mean?"

"It means there will be a slight chance she'll go rogue slash thirst for blood if she couldn't control it." Luka explained for Subaru. Subaru nodded. "You mean like a killer or something?" Rin said. Luka nodded. "Okay, Now I'm scared" Rin added. "Guys! Guys! Let's not get into conclusions yet. We don't know if she will... You know.. Be a murderer or something" Said Kaito. Len nodded in agreement. "But what if she does?" Rin doubted. The crew, including Subaru exchanged glances. "We will have no choice but to unplug her." Subaru spoke. Len shook his head while saying "No" all over and over again as tears started to fall from his eyes. Len sat down again while facing down, crying. Rin rested a hand on his left shoulder. Rin looked up to Subaru. "Is there any way to remove it from her?" Asked Rin. Subaru glanced up like he was finding an answer then looked back at her again, "There is.." Subaru said, seriousness in his voice. Len looked up with hope plastered on his face but faded when Subaru said "But, It was somehow destroyed. You might be like: You could always repair it right? Well no, since the materials for that machine was rare to find. It took us 1 year to find the materials and another 1 year to build."

"Yuna did this to her. She might've destroyed the thing too." Len said clutching the chair's arm. "But that rings the bell. How did she even get that?" Len added. Subaru shrugged. Luka realized something and decided to speak up, "The song.." She said. The crew looked at her with puzzled faces. "The song she sung earlier.. The first verse.." She added.

"I'm waiting every night to finally roam and invite"

"Maybe she destroyed the thing!" Luka explained. "She might've escaped at night, grabbed the weird looking sharp rock and destroyed the cure!"

Subaru held his chin like there was an invisible beard "Hmm, Good Theory, Luka." He said. "You're so smart!" Kaito complemented. Luka blushed while Meiko was burning hot. "How could you guys never know about it?" Asked Meiko, gritting her teeth. "Well, We kinda all hang out to the human world and leave the building unguarded." Subaru said as he smiled and rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "No offense but..." Meiko trailed off and then stood up and started shaking and yelling at Subaru furiously, "ARE YOU GUYS STUPID?! HOW COULD YOU BE SO F*CKING CARELESS?!?!" Meiko yelled as she shook Subaru furiously, "Stop..... Shaking... Meeeee" Subaru managed to say and finally pushed the furious Meiko away. Meiko sat down and crossed her arms while pouting. Rin wiggled her eyebrows and said "Jealous Much?" Meiko huffed before saying "As If!"

The mood changed from silly to serious. "How's Yuna?" Asked Len. "She's under repairing." Said Subaru. "Where did you guys found the rock?" Asked Rin. "Oh well, Long story.." Subaru replied. "Make it short" Rin demanded. "Fine, We were just unplugging Hikari when we saw a rock stuck in her back, It was gross but we managed to remove it. Before we did she started to sing that song Yuna sung earlier but her own version. What if as Yuna was getting the rock she got infected too?" Explained Subaru. The crew said 'oh' in unison.

At that time, Sakura (You) started stirring. The crew cringed as they heard you groan. "Rin, Turned the goddamn T.V off." Sakura drowsily said. "It's a good thing she's still her." Rin laughed. "At least I know she's alive." Len said, relieved.

But, What they didn't know is..

You were already awake since their conversation started...

You heard everything..

About you, having a Nightmare Virus..

You're even scared at yourself..

Worried if you go rogue and kill them...
