Collin stood up and walked towards Maureen and knelt down

Everyone else except for Collin and Maureen was laughing

She didn't know what to say. She knew that he was no good that it would just be like when they where in the 2nd grade.
"So... Maureen what do you say" Jesse said
She couldn't speak it was to sudden. She knew she wanted collin, that no matter what he had done to her she couldn't stop herself form wanting him.

But she just stood up and left she didn't want to even look at collin or she knew she would change her mind. She left them and went up Jesse's room she need space, a lot of it.

They had seen alot of sides of Maureen but none of them jmhad seen this side not even her best friends

"and we heard that her dad had tried abused her. So I did. I invite her to my house but she didn't come I tried for weeks but she never gave me a chance. Then she finally agreed to meet with me behind the school block. I told every one and they hid. Then I told that I loved her that I will protect her from her dad that I will never let anyone to ever hurt her.
She believed me then I kissed her. I knew she was scared because she froze bit when I was about to pull away and apologize everyone came out from where they were hiding and started pointing and laughing at her the called names and she stood there waiting for me to save her but I did nothing in just stood there lost and..." he was cut off again
"she hates you, we kinda get" Sarah said
"But how come she never told us we are her best friends" Jesse complained
"because I promised myself that I would let it go and move on" they heard Maureen say she had changed into one of Jesse clothes
"Maureen we never knew" Sarah said
"I know that's why I'm going to accept" Maureen said making all of them surprised
"what?" Sarah said lost
"besties, time out" Jesse said and dragged Maureen to an edge in the room and Sarah followed
" Are you sure" Jesse asked
" no, but I can't stop myself. Even after what he did in second grade, I still had a crush on him in the third grade. And now that he is asking me out, I know I should say no, but I can't. I don't know how to stop myself from wanting him" Maureen said
Her friends could feel that she was really troubled
"no problem. If he ever hurts you again well be there" Sarah said and they hugged
"OK. We give our best friend the permission to date a dick like you . But hurt her and you will wish you where never born" Jesse said pointing her index finger at collin
"seriously?" collin asked
"yes" Maureen said
Collin moved closer to kiss Maureen but Sarah got in the way
"na... ah" she said and they all went got to Jesse room to get dressed
"dude you can stop if you want" Edward said
"no way Eddie you owe me 200 dollars. I gonna sleep with her no matter what"
"dude you might end up hurting her like before and that would affect I and Jesse"

I can never loss a bet was all he thought of. Maureen would be OK wouldn't she?
She had to be because, no matter how much of jerk he was, he would hate him self if Maureen was to get again because of him
