The long journey of Carmen

Chapter one

Carmen was shy and timid type of girl. She was the type of girl who would have only one best friend and that was enough for her. As she was the nursing student she usually spent her time in her books. Books was her life so she never had time to talk with any boys nor she would care about it. That's what she always thought not until she met 'the mark' in the summer vacation.

Mark was very handsome, vibrant, sociable, bubbly person. He was complete opposite of carmen. He was so friendly with everybody that he would make many friends in no time. He had his own mobile business in such a young age. Repairing and selling every kinds of electronics was his speciality in his business. He ha dropped out of college to focused in his own business. He was good friend of Jenny as his business was near Jenny's clothes store. Jenny was carmen's older sister and that is how carmen met mark.

Even the summer vacation carmen was fully focused in her books and seeing her had made her mom so worried for her as carmen never had any sociable life. Her mom would force her to go with her sister to Help her as well as to get acquainted with other people.

One time as mark passed by the Jenny's store he saw cute little girl fully focused in her books. As she was so absorbed in her books, she was totally oblivious of her surroundings. She seemed different but very noticeable for Mark.

Every time he would passed the store he would always greet her and tried to talk to her but carmen being so antisocial and too shy to talk she would just nodded her head with a full blushed face.

As the times goes on, carmen got little comfortable to talk with mark. She started to replied his questions but she could not asked him questions. But Mark thought that was the improvement. At least he got her to talk to him.

Mark was enjoying every bit of Carmen. He was fascinated by her nerdy looks, her shyness, blushed face and mostly the way she talked. Not just Mark, even carmen liked talking with Mark. Mark was the first man she had ever talked in her life after her father. They both enjoyed each other's company.

One morning,as usual when mark came to greet carmen, he did not saw her in her usual spot. He felt sudden cold chill feelings of fear of losing carmen. He could not stopped himself asking jenny about carmen.

"hey jenny where is carmen? Did she not come with you today?.  I mean i always see her here so ...umm i mean is she alright or did she go back already? but she told me that she would be here for at least two more weeks right? Oh my god! I must have heard wrong."

Mark kept talking while rubbing his back necks. okay he looked bit worried and nervous.
Jenny was watching mark in a shocked face. She was totally enjoying this situation. She could tell Mark was agitated but could not stop her laughter as this was the first time she saw 'the popular Mark' in such condition.

"oh my god mark... you looked so worried. Your face oh oh your expression.haha..... sorry you looked so funny. I could not stop my laughter." she was still laughing.

"what the hell jenny why are you laughing? okay don't tell me but can you at least tell me tell me where the hell is carmen??" Shouted Mark.

He was hoping that she would not tell him that carmen went back. jenny was enjoying this very moment so she was taking time to tell him the truth.

" hmm somebody is falling for my sister. i can see that but you know that right that she is my precious baby sister so if you are thinking of playing my sister like with your ex girlfriends i will kill you. okay so as to answer your previous questions she has not gone back yet. she stayed at home today to do some of her assignments."said Jenny with an amused and concerned face.

Mark was smiling now. He just patted her and walked past the shop without saying any words to her. He was happy thinking that he still has some time before carmen would go from there.
