Jaeden, Wyatt, Jack, and Finn met Jeremy at the Starbucks in the mall.
"Seriously? Starbucks?" Jack asks jokingly.
Finn glances at the smaller boy, a small smile coming onto his face. Why does he have to be dating Sophia?
"I'm thirstyyyy..." Jaeden whines, and Wyatt flicks his cheek.
"You always are aren't you bubba." Wyatt says, chuckling.
Jaeden rolls his eyes, turning his attention over to Jack and Finn, the ladder looking like he couldn't take his eyes off the former.
Wyatt grabs Jacks arm and pulls him away from the group. "Okay, so what's really going on. There's no way you're dating Sophia."
Jack groans. "What made it so obvious?"
Wyatt smirks. "The fact that you are totally in love with Finn Wolfhard."
Jack blushes. "What?? No, absolutely not"
"The blush on your face tells me otherwise."
Jack storms off, back over to the other boys while Wyatt grins in victory.
Nothing really happens for the rest of the day and the boys each go their separate ways, except Wyatt and Jaeden, who walk home since their houses are so close.
"So...you interested in anyone?" Jaeden asks, trying to start a conversation.
Wyatt shrugs. "I mean, yeah, but who isn't."
Jaeden nods, looking at the ground. "Yeah, I like someone too."
Wyatt nods.
Jaeden clears his throat, and glances around him. "Oh, well here's my house. I'll talk to you later."
Wyatt nods. "Bye," he says, kicking himself for not trying to do anything.
