A/N: Just letting you guys know that have read the story so far, I do apologize for taking the time to update this story as I like writing it it's just hard to continue the other stories in the process as I do have other works in the process including two books one already going through editing and the other getting closer to being finished.

Walking out of the classroom feeling disgusted with how things seemed to be working in this pack which left Tycho wondering why the Alpha even sent him to this place since it seemed like whoever ran this pack was getting away with a lot of things that even a normal Alpha wouldn't allow. Especially if the Council, a group of Elders that came from all over the world, got wind of it and decided to intervene it got Tycho wondering if they even know anything about this.

Gathering up his things into his bag again he felt like he was being watched from behind it had been happening throughout the class and he knew that it was the same girl that seemed to have her sights on him. Trying desperately to avoid from looking at the girl knowing full well that any indication he may show interest in her could give unwanted ideas or indications that he may be interested in her.

Slipping his cellphone out of his pocket moving toward the exit of the classroom punching in the number for the Alpha, Tycho knew that he had to report the trouble here and see how he was supposed to proceed as his original job was completely different than what he wanted to at this moment. Making sure that no one was around before he pressed the phone against his ear, Tycho didn't have long to wait before there came a gruff voice on the other side.

"Don't tell me that you already accomplished your job?" a voice asked on the other inquired, the tone suggesting that of amusement instead of authority.

"Not exactly, sir...I have run into a bit of a problem here." Tycho answered going about explaining the problems that he had started to face at the new town. It didn't take long before he finished up that he noticed the girl that had sat next to him step up to him with a thick file of several papers in her hands. "I will get ahold of you later, sir or I will be late for my next class."

"Keep me informed, Mr. Hunter...I will see about contacting the Council to see about getting some investigating done about things there." the man on the other side said before the line went dead leaving Tycho to slide the phone back into his pocket turning back to the girl.

"Hey." Tycho said to the girl whose expression turned to that of kindness.

"Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I am sorry for being mean toward you back there, but I have been stressed out lately. My name is Mia...what class do you have next?" she asked as they started down the corridor becoming aware of the girl that had her sights on Tycho watching them as they left with a sneer and disgusted look on her face as they walked away.

Looking down at his schedule in his hand offering it to her allowing her to scan over it a small smile crossing her face. "Oooh nice, you have the same classes as me which will make it easier to tell you where to go."

"That helps with saving me time from looking for the next class. I appreciate any kind of help you can offer." Tycho answered offering a smile feeling a bit at ease here now.

"Just as long as you don't want me to do your homework...I already have enough work on my hands." Mia explained waving for him to follow her as they continued down through the halls.

"Would you like some help with that bundle there? It looks like it's a ton of work." Tycho offered to her which surprised Mia as she had never had anyone offer any kind of help and before she could even say something a new girl about the same age came stumbling into them crying and sobbing.
