Ch. 6 Ash vs Ethan

The 1st round is about to be announced, and I can't wait to see who im gonna be facing, I heard it was gonna be randomized all tournament, so I might get Paul or Sawyer right off the bat, hopefully not, if I do face them, let it be in the Top 8 or higher. I was looking around and I see alot of young trainers who look nervous, but not scared, and I an tell it's their first time in a League tournament, but I wanna wun, so no holding back, maybe a little, but as the tournament progresses, I'm gonna release more of my power, but I wanna find out who my opponent is first. "Alright, now lets find out who faces who, before we shuffle, the League tournament wil be randomized, so good luck to all competitors, and now, to reveal the 1st round", Mr Goodshow says, as the pictures of everybody begins to shuffle, and it goes on for 20 seconds, before they all stop and reveal the matches. Im in the first match against some kid, so probably an easy win, but not counting on it, "The first match will begin tomorrow morning at 10, so dont be late, as their will be lots of action you don't wanna miss".

[Timeskip] The Next Day

Its already 9:47 ans my match is about to begin, I'm just waiting for them to call me so I can battle, I just wanna get it over and done with, so I can spend time with Serena and my friends. A few minutes pass and they call me, "Ash Ketchum, to the field please?", a security guard says, so i get up and leave, and look who's with me in the locker room, Astrid, "goodluck Ash", she winks, and I blush, "oh, t-thanks Astrid", I say and walk off. I get to the trainers box and see a kid whos wearing blue pants, a white shirt with a red jacket, with white sleeves and a white collar, like my old jacket, "hey, im Ash, ready to battle?", "yeah, let's make it a good one, and my names Ethan", he says, which makes me excited, he sounds confidant, "This will be a 3 on 3 battle, between Ethan of Saffron City and Ash of Pallet Town, choose your Pokemon, and lets this battle begin", says the ref.

"Alright, I choose Magmar" , says Etjan as his Magmar is show.

"Alright then, Go, Greninja", I say as Greninja appeara in his normal form.

"Ethan gets first move, lets this battle begin", "Magmar Double Team go", a bunch of Magmars appear, whoch throws me off my game, but only a little, "alright, Greninja, use Water Shuriken", Greninja throws a few od them, and half of the Magmars disappear, "Alright, Magmar use Thunder Punch". Magmar powers up his attack, and I counter, "Greninja, use Double Team", and a bunch of Greninjas appear, which makes Magmat miss his attack, and leaves him open for an attack, "Greninja, usw Water Pulse". Greninja fires a close up Water Pulse and directly hits Magmar, which senda him flying to the wall, and knocks out Magmar, "Magmar is unable to battle, Greninja is the winner, trainer, please choose your next Pokemon", "Magmar return, you did great, get a good rest", says Ethan as Magmar returns to it's pokeball, "now, go Electabuzz", says Ethan as an Electabuzz appears, "alrigjt, Greninja return", I say as Greninja disappears into his Pokebal, "I choose Krookodile", I say as Krookdile, sunglasses and all, appears, "woah, cool, alright, Electabuzz, use Thunder", says Ethan, and Electabuzz launchez it's attack, but has no effect, "what's going on?", " I smile, "sorry, Krookolidile is a Ground-Type, no damage done from electric type attacks", "uh-oh, not good", "now it's my turn, Krookolidile, use Stone Edge", I say as Krookolidile fires a bunch of stones to Electabuzz, "ok, use Dig", I say as Krookolidile digs his way into the ground, "alright Electabuzz, keep your guard up, when it shows itself, use Brick Break", says Ethan as Electabuzz gets ready for the attack, now, Krookolidile, use Dragon Claw" I say, and Krookolidile appears from under Electabuzz, and doea damage with Dig, and hits his Dragon Claw. "Electabuzz is unable to battle, Krookolidile is the winner, trainer, choose your last pokemon", "alright, return Electabuzz, you did great, now rest, go Blastoise", says Ethan as a Blastoise appears, "Krookolidile return, I say as Krookolidile diaappears, now go Greninja, let's do it", I say as Greninja appears and starts to transform into our Ash-Greninja form, "you ready Ethan?", "yeah, let's do it, Blastoise, use Hydro Pump", "Greninja, dodge and use Aerial Ace", I say, as Greninja sodges, and attacks Blastoise, "alright, now Blastoise, use Crunch", say Ethan. Blastoise bites Greninjas arm, which makes Greninja losw his focus on his attack, "Grwninja, get outta there", "not today Ash, Blastoise, use Hydro Cannon", "Greninja, use Water Shuriken", both of them launch their attacks at each other, which collide and smoke over takes our view, "who's standing after both attacks collided?". We all are wondering that, and im getting my answer as the smoke clears, and shows both Blastoise and Greninja standing, both on their trainers sides, "you ok Blastoise?", "Blastoise", says the blue turtle pokemon "what about you Greninja, "Ninja", while holding his right arm, "no chances, Greninja return", I say as Greninja disappears into its pokeball, "alright then, Pikachu, your up", "Pika", says Pikachu, who runs onto the field, "alright, Blastoise, use Hydro Cannon", "Pikachu, use Volt Tackle", I say, as Pikachu runs ans electric power appears around him, and hits Blastoise, dealing major damage, which ends this battle, "Blastoise no", "Blastoise is unable to battle, Pikachu wins, Ash is the winner of this battle.

The crowd cheers, so I wave and spot Serena and my friends, who ar2w cheering, so I wave back to them, and give a thumbs up, "woah, what an amazing battle, one-sided from the start, is their anybody who can put up a good against Ash? We're gonna have to wait and find out". I know people who can put up against me, they might even beat me, they have before, like Paul and Sawyer, Gary, Astrid and Cameron, Virgil, so this won't be eaan easy League tournament, but when are they, but I decide to leave the field and go up with my friends.
