Venue
Simmi and Ishita were standing outside the entrance.
"Ishita ek min rukiyo. Maina gaadi me apna purse bhool aayi. Tu ruk mai abhi ati hun"
Simmi said as they were a few feet away from the main entrance of the venue.
"Theek hai. Jaldi ana"
Ishita agreed to wait.
As per the plan Simmi excused herself and enetered the venue from backside.
"Bhai! Ishita bahar khadi hai"
She informed Raman.
"Great! Sab log ready hain na?"
Raman asked everyone present there. They showed a thumbs up.
"Simmi tu ab Ishita ko call laga aur use andar ane keliye bol. Romi lights off karde aur spot light ready rakhna. Aur sab apni apni jagah le lo"
He gave instructions and nervously rubbed his palms against each other.
The Bhalla & Iyer seniors seated themselves in the audience. Mihir-Mihika, Vandu-Bala and Ruhi went to the backstage. Romi was handling the technical department. Raman hid behind the stage from where he could monitor everything and also watch his JKR without any interruptions.
"Hello Ishita"
Simmi said over the phone.
"Haan Simmi. Tum kahan ho?"
Ishita looked around for Simmi.
"Arre Ishita wo na parking lot ke bagal me hi ek entrance tha. To mai wahin se andar agayi. Tu main entrance se anadar aa ja"
She said.
"Ok theek hai mai ati hun"
Said Ishita.
Ishita stepped in through the main entrance.
She covered her eyes with her hand when a spotlight hit her.
Aayiye Aapka Intezaar Tha
She heard the song and opened her eyes to see a beautifully decorated stage with a banner that read
'Chahath ke Dhun: A Musical Series'
'Wow!' She beamed and thanked Mihir mentally for such a warm welcome.
Simmi came towards her
"Chal Ishita! Aage ke seat me bait the hain"
"Haan"
She looked for the audience. She could see a very few seats and only the Bhalla's and Iyers sitting.
"Mihir ne kaha tha ke Musical Concert hai. Par yahan to bahut kam seats hain. Aur Mihir aur Mihika bhi kahin nazar nahi arahe?" She asked Simmi in confusion.
"Arre tu kyun ye sab soch ke apna dimag kharab kar rahi hai. Tu baith ke show enjoy kar na. Abhi show shuru hotha hoga" Simmi dragged her towards the first row.
"Theek hai"
She was still confused nevertheless brushed her thoughts aside and waited for the show to begin.
"Hi IshiMa!"
Ruhi appeared on the stage.
"Ruhi? Ye kya kar rahi hai stage pe?" Ishita widened her eyes in shock.
"IshiMa aap mujhe roz kahani sunate ho na. Aaj mai apko ek kahani sunana chahti hun" Ruhi cheerily said.
