Chapter 4

Everything is a blur, memories fly by. I'm spinning but not moving. I see people I've never seen before, some shouted at me, some showed kindness, then some were blank with no faces.

I'm interrupted by a loud ringing sound like a school alarm, all the faces start to panic and scream telling me to do something but the sounds of their voices drift away.

I spin around to find myself face to face with the announcer.

With a smirk on her face she says,

"Hello skye, how are you?"

"What do you mean how am I? I'm lost in a place that makes no since, I want to get out of here!" I say with a grunt.

"Well then," she starts walking closer, "we have to do something about that."

She pulls out a dagger and now runs toward me.

My instincts tell me to run but I can't move, something is holding me back. LITERALLY!

I start punching furiously in all directions, then I feel a bolting pain in my wrist but ignore it. I look this girl in the eyes.

All I see is pure hatred, then a speck of sadness. right then everything pauses including me, all of a sudden I wake up.

I rub my eyes and Look at Ember. she stares at me with huge blue eyes.

"What-" I start but I'm cut off with Ember jabbing in another shot.

This one is different, I'm in this field now. other than last time, I can move now.

I'm in different clothes. shorts, v-neck, running shoes, and my hair pulled back in a loose bun.

I almost fell over when a voice startled me.

"Hello I'm Adrian, welcome to the Heath test. other than your last test, I'm telling you what this test is. No, I'm not a fake person in your mind - I'm an actual person your just like transported hear through your mind." Adrian says, walking towards me.

"Ok, well, Adrian, will there be any crazy women trying to kill me?" I joke.

He smiles, "I'm afraid not, your just here to first run, do jumping jacks, push ups, then sit ups. Oh an you will be fighting a bear."
