A Trip to Remember

Rose

The time of year had finally came,it was time for the annual field trip,and since I was in year 11 I was finally aloud to go,and luckily I signed up in time,and I managed to get a spot on the bus along with my friend,only 50 people could go.

"Rose,Belle!Hurry up pack!"My mum yelled,and she was more exited than us because it gave her and my dad a break from us I guess."I mean it! I have to drop you both off at school the bus leaves at eight!"My mum yells again,and I groan before getting out of bed,sliding out of the warm covers,it was quite cold in the house,it was January so the weather was still cold outside.

I walked in the bathroom,and took a quick shower,I shivered when I stepped out,why was it so cold?I wrapped a towel around my body,and walked into my bedroom,and to the closet,well the bus ride is five hours so something comfortable would be better to wear.

I grabbed a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt,honestly I wore something like this everyday,and it was comfortable,so it will have to do.

I brushed my teeth,washed my face,not doing makeup as I was just going to sit on a bus for five hours go to a hotel,eat and sleep.

"Come on!Lets go!"My mothers voice rang through the house,telling me to hurry up,I laughed at how eager she was for us to leave,I grabbed my two suitcases and threw my backpack over my shoulder before unplugging my phone's charger from the wall,my phone still on the charger,I put it in my bag,and hurried downstairs,where my mum and dad were.

"I'm going to miss you,"my dad says,as he kisses my forehead then my sisters,I hug him,"I love you two,"he says with a smile,

"Love you too dad,I'll miss you lots,"I say,and my sister says I love you too,and my mum opens the door for me,

"eager aren't we?"Belle teases,and my mum rolls my eyes

"Yes,yes I am eager for you guys to leave,"my mum jokes,and she gets in the car,and I open the boot of the car to put my suitcases,I hurry to the passenger side,screaming when I slip on a piece of ice.I laugh at my clumsiness,and hop up,and get into the car.

We arrive at school,and I see two school buses and my friends near one,I hug my mum from across the seat.

"Have fun guys,call me each night!"My mum says,and I nod,grabbing my backpack,I get out of the car grabbing my suitcases,and making sure not to slip on ice as I walk up to my friends,my sister heading a different way.

Sophie was the first to see me,she hugs me saying 'hello' and next Tara hugged me,and grabbed onto my shoulders.

"I'm so exited,"Tara says,and I laugh

"Aren't we all?"I ask,and Sophie nods

"Yes,yes indeed,"she replies,and seconds later Ms.Felix appears with a clipboard.

"Rose your here,great!Your bus buddy will be,she says looking at the clipboard,"Louis,"she says,and points over to someone who I believe is in year 12."You guys can set your suitcases over there,"she says,and points to a spot by one of the buses,"and you are on that bus,"she says,and we all head to the bus.

"Wait who are you guys sitting by?"I ask and they look at eachother

"We got paired together,"Sophie says,as we set our suitcases were she told us to.

I get onto the bus,and there was Mr.Kart waiting with his clipboard.

"Tara and Sophie you sit right here,"he says pointing to a seat right in the front,"and,Rose you will sit back there,"he says pointing to the way back of the bus,well then,looks like I won't be sitting next to my friends.

I walked to the back,and sat down I got on my phone until someone interrupted me.

"Hello,Rose."
