I start walking up maple st. when I see my best friend of 3 years running towards me! I smile and open my arms as Alice embraces me in a huge hug
"Dudeeee I've hella missed you!''
"Dudeee I've hella missed you too! Sorry I went to camp this summer, but I'll make sure to spend the whole next summer with you deal?"
"Perfect" Alice responds
"Welp let's get going babe haha"
I've always called Alice that! Ever since I met her back in the 8th grade. I would never forget her....ever
We start walking and somehow we come upon the topic of Shane Dawson
"Shane made this hella cool video with his diamond play button Jack!"
"Hm?" I say suddenly remembered that I was actually having a conversion
"Well I waassss talking about Shane but I think you dazed off or some shit haha get it together grazer" she playfully shoves me to the side & I push her back when she almost falls..
"Shit Grazer a little much!?" She exclaimed
"S-sorry Alice" I stumble to say. That's when I suddenly notice she had tripped and I went to reach her bookbag that she had dropped
"Dude its fine just take it easy" she smiles
As I extend my arm to grab it, she reaches for it aswell and her cold hand brushed against mine making me blush extensively
"Grazer you okay?" She asks
"Oh- umm y-yeah sorry"
Shit...oh fuck she saw me..I'm totally screwed...think of another subject! Think of another subject!!!
"So, how was your summer ms. Thompson?" I ask as we walk up the stairs that lead to the doors of Derry High
"Eh pretty low-key if you ask me" she shrugged

Alice POV
Jack's face lights up & he walks towards a girl I am unfamiliar with
"Hey Alice come meet my girlfriend!"
As soon as I saw her, my heart sank deeply. It felt as though someone had just punched me in the stomach Hella hard
"Alice meet Paris, Paris meet Alice my best friend!"
Paris smiled and looked me up and down examining me with her wicked ice blue eyes
"Hello" I wave me hand
"Why hello there Alice! Jackie (ik fuckin cringeeee) told me all about you! U seem pretty chill, we should go out for coffee some time!" She exclaimed
"Definetly" I smiled so fake, almost as fake as I could tell she was with me... I had a bad vibe about her.. I just didn't know what...
