Chapter: 5

An half an hour latter I walk out of the bathroom with curly dark brown hair and black eyeliner.

"Your even hotter than you are in your pictures."

"Are you blushing?" I asked. He just stared at me blankly. Ugh what dose it take for people to understand. Yes I'm Layla Lin but seriously. Chase then dragged me to the living room. 

"Not in public." I tried to pull away but he wouldn't let go.

"No you will stay here and let them see you."

"Fine." I said annoyed. I walk got he kitchen and grab a Pepsi. I pick up my phone and see I have a text.

"Rose is sick can you come?"

"Ya I'll be there."

I ran up the stairs and began to pack. 

"Where are you going?" Chase asked. 

"I have to go to california." I said quickly be for leaving the room. Getting to the air port I had a couple of problems.

"Miss you can not get on without a ticket."

"And if I don't get on you and I could both lose are jobs so suggest that you let me on the plane."

"Fine." He said letting me on the plane. Sitting in the first class area I couldn't sleep at all.

"Are you supost to be sitting here miss?"

"Yes I'm part of the F.B.I team and they needed me to go to california for a case that they are working on." I said showing here my badge and licence.

"Well miss Hart is there anything I can get you?"

"No I'm fine thanks." I said before she walked away from me. What felt like days was acitualy hours.

"Next stop california." The captain said. Getting off the plane I went right to the Night Academy.

"Hey Layla." Josh said at the gates. I followed him all the way to the stables. 

"Here she is." He said be for leaving us alone.

"Hey Rose." I said whispering into her ear. Then she looked up at me with her beautiful brown eyes. I was always as if I could talk to her, like she could understand me.

"Did you miss me princess?" I said quickly smiling. She snorted and I laughed. As I grades her hair someone walked up to are stall.

"Well I see Rose found someone to love her and that she loves back ." 

"Ya, who are you may I ask?" I started to question him.

"I'm conner." He said. I stood up and brushed the hay off of me.

"Your Layla Lin!" He said with a shock.

"Ya I am." He just stood there looking at me in shock.

"Wanna ride?" I said with my country acsent as Rose got up and nuzzled me.

"I would but isnt Rose sick?" Rose winked at him.

"Did she just." I cut him off.

"Yes she did." I said handing her an apple and putting my hat on.

"Come on."

"Don't you need a sattle?"

"No not me." I said as I got on.

"There is a talent show tomorrow will you be in it?"

"Sure why not, wanna race on the track?" I asked as he got on his horse. 

"Fuck ya." Conner said as I chuckled.

As we were racing I had noticed Josh watching us. Lightly I kicked Rose.

"Troy over to Josh will you please princess?" Doing as I asked she stoped in front of Josh. 

"I see your better Rose." He said rubbing her snout.

"How are you princess?" He asked me.

"Fine, but very tired." Conner stoped in ground of us.

"She's gonna be in the talent show tomorrow."
