Ugh, school. 5:46 a.m. I had time to sleep. I put my alarm on 'snooze'. My eyes felt crusty like they always do."Baby, get up. Time for school, breakfast is on the table." Breakfast? That's rare, she never makes her own breakfast at times ever since dad left with Jacob. 3 years later I'm 17 and my mom is richer than ever. I got dressed into grey skinny jeans and plaid blue shirt with a nice pair of black slip-on Vans. I rushed down stairs as the smell of bacon and hashbrowns filled my nostrils with its intense smell. I sat down on the stool by the kitchen counter while my food was served and got greeted with an envelope that said 'I love you'. "Here's money for gas and your allowance." I looked at the envelope. Despite the fact I didn't even spend half the money of my last allowance, extra $500 is way too much. "Thanks" I said with a chuckle remembering my tank was already full enough.

I devoured my plate, 6:00 said the clock. I realized had a whole hour until school started. "I'll be home around 7:00, I'll get dinner" She kisses my cheek and says "Don't do drugs Taylor, I love you" with her dimple smile and hazel-green eyes I inherited from her. Her straight black hair was almost like mine but mine was a light brown and a 'Bruno Mars" cut. She walked away in her outfit and closed the door shut. Don't do drugs? Hmm. Sure mom. Her Juicy Couture scent still lingered in the air remembering she was finally the owner of the company. It's insane what she goes through and she's only 37.

I went back upstairs and got my stuff and finish my daily routine. My iPhone vibrated. Who could be texting me at this time? Usually everyone is too tired to be on phones or text. I saw it. It was a text from her, a text from Jennifer.

"We need to talk.."

My mind went blank. It was the new girl I met when school started. The gay one. The one that was on the cheer squad and luckily got team captain. We only hung out 10 times after school. I remember her saying "I want to keep the way I am between me an you, promise?" Obviously, I promised. But what did we need to talk about? I never flirted with her, or anything. "About what?" I replied anxiously. I got my keys and ran out the door to my car. My baby Camero. I turned the ignition and stared at my phone and the message Jennie texted me..

We need to talk..
