VOTE VOLTAIRE TRINIDAD FOR PRESIDENT!

Voltaire Trinidad. A 12 grader student. A famous softball player. A theatrical actor. An ambassador of peace.

Impressive bio!

I check his 2x2 picture on the right side of the flyer.

Oh my! Impressive look!

Why on earth that I didn't notice him for a year or so?

"Daphne, Mrs. Acosta is looking for you. She's there in the reading center," Stanley said.

"Why is she looking at me," I asked myself.

Mrs. Acosta is busy eyeing on a magazine when I enter the room. She feels my  presence and suddenly face the door.

"And there you are Ms. Agustin. I need you badly," she said as she holds my hand.

"Why Ma'am? What can I do to help you," I said a bit puzzling.

"The secretary of the BYM group withdraw her candidacy, the slot for secretary is now vacant. We've been thinking if who's capable to replace Ms. Paras. And we ended up, choosing you," Mrs. Acosta said as she looks at me intensely.

"But Ma'am, why me? Hmm, I'm not fit for it," I uttered a bit uneasy.

"We find you suited for the position. You've been consistent in showing your exemplary contributions to the school and you work well in academics," Mrs. Acosta added.

"I won't accept no as an answer Ms. Daphne Jane dela Cruz," she finally concluded.

No choice.

Just yes.
