Rio

"Honey wake up it's the first day of school, you don't want to be late!" my mom wakes me up. I moan and get out of bed. I pop in my scömiché earrings and get on jean shorts with a yellow shirt. "what can I eat?" I ask my mom. "here grab a bite of French toast!" she answers. "K thanks!" I grab a bite of French toast, grab my bag and leave walking to school. "bye!" I call to my mom. "bye have a nice day!" She says.

I get to school and sit down at on the steps waiting for the bell. "Hi, you must be Kaya! I'm Lola!" a tall girl with long strait REALLY dark brown hair. She has converse on and knee length jean shorts and a black shirt with the batman sign on it. "Hi Lola, yes I'm Kaya." "I'm here because I heard a new girl was coming and I've never seen you before, so I thought you must be kaya! So I thought you might need a friend to show you around and just hang out with you!" That might come in handy to have a friend on the first day of school, so we hung out a bit before the bell rang. "So how are you liking Rio so far?" Lola asks me. "I like it! Although I can't really understand most of the people here..." I answer. We both laugh. "would you like me to teach you some Portuguese? I'm not a very fluent speaker either but I know quite a bit!" "sure!" I say back. I was exited to learn a new language! Then the bell rings. "That was the sino (see - no). that means the bell." Lola tells me. "Sino, see-no.... was that good?" I ask lola. "that was great! your already a natural!" We head to class.
