Thumbing through my current read about a young shepherd in search of treasure, I heard the familiar beep of my phone.

Levi: Where are you?  I've been waiting for an hour!

I'm waiting for the coffee. I'll be on my way in about 15 minutes

As soon as my message was sent three cups of coffee were placed in front of me, followed by the friendly smile of the waitress. I stood up, grabbing the cups filled to the brim with coffee when I accidentally knocked down one.

Oh great.

Not only were my jeans stained, but the book I was reading was now drenched in coffee- the white pages now turning into a color that resembled mud.

Searching my bag for any table napkin or something to wipe the mess I created, a voice that I recognized somewhere spoke.

"Here you go."

I looked up, and instantly regretted my decision.

You looked just as breathtaking as that day at the bus stop, and not wanting to creep you out, I broke my eyes from your tousled hair and took the napkins you were handing, muttering a quiet "thanks".

I didn't know if you recognized me or not,  but you answered my question while you helped my wipe the coffee that carefully trickled its way to the floor.

"You're that pretty girl from that bus stop, aren't you."

A light blush graced my cheeks at what you said, and it took all my will power not to stare. The air around us was surprisingly calm and comfortable. Opposite the erratic beating of my heart.

"It occurred to me that we hadn't introduced ourselves the first time we met," you said, starting the conversation. "I'm Capri, by the way. Parents named me after the constellation, but to be honest, my name reminds me of those drinks-Capri Suns." '

I laughed a bit, amused. But amusement quickly turned to shyness as soon as I realized you were waiting.

"I'm Sydney, hi. Nice to meet you. Again"

You gave me one of those award-winning smiles and after five minutes of silent cleaning, we were done. A part of me was sad that this would be the end again, and I was seriously contemplating whether to spill the other two cups of now cold coffee just so you could stay a little longer.

"The Alchemist, huh," you said referring to the book on the table. "I actually-"

The sound of Tyson Ritter's voice cut you off as my phone rang for the second time. Giving you an apologetic look, I headed outside to answer my brother.

"What the heck's taking you so long, Syd.  I have been waiting at this stinking park for an hour and a half. Is something wrong? Did you get into an accident of some sort?"

"You're exaggerating, Levi. I was only gone for about half an hour! And no, I'm okay. I just had to wait for the coffee" I told my brother, exasperated.

"Fine, just make it fast. I can't bear sitting down here anymo-"

I ended the call and ran back inside the cafe. You were know sitting down at the same booth, nursing a cup of coffee in your hands.  I sat across you, grabbing my book and checking the damages. You slid the cup of coffee towards me.

"Here's to replace the one that spilled."

I looked at you like you grew two heads. "It's okay. It was my fault the coffee spilled. You don't have to replace anything."

You gave me a look that made me reconsider.

"Fine. I'll take it. Just let me pay for it, at least."

You shook your head and simply said, "You don't have to pay for it. Just consider it a gift from me."

I swallowed my pride and accepted your offer when you spoke again. "But, I guess you could lend me your book for a week. I'll return it to you next week, same place, same time."

I felt bad for the coffee you gave, and what you proposed was simple. So I agreed. A beep from my phone reminded me of where I should be heading, and so I stood up and grabbed the cups of coffee I needed.

"I should be going now," I told you. "Goodbye."

"Goodbye, Sydney."

And as my brother and I made our way home that night, I kept gazing at the sky full of stars, trying to find the constellation you were named after.

Just so I wouldn't forget your name.
