Reunited

Chapter 2

By the time I wake up Amber is already awake and she is stalking Chan's Instagram.

"Hey I think I'm gonna go back home now. I didn't realize I slept so late. And plus my mom wants me home all day for my birthday." I gathered my things together. She smirked at me, getting off the bed and going to her closet door.

As she opens her closet and reaches for something I realize it's a birthday present. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXIS!!!" Amber shouts handing me my gift. I smile like an idiot and accept my birthday present.

I hold the light blue bag in my hands with white tissue paper inside to hide the gift. First I grab the closed card and rip it open first.

"Happy Birthday Alexis! You are my best friend in the whole world and there is nothing or no one that would break apart our friendship. I love you Alex! Happy birthday!" The card read.

I smiled at Amber after reading the card and set the card next to me on the floor. Finally I anxiously open the bag and scoop out the tissue paper. That's when I see the best gifts ever. First I pull out a box in which holds the Carl Grimes action figure. I start jumping up and down in my seat on the floor but that's not even everything. Next I grab a new shirt that says ChanFan and has the best picture of chandler on the front. I can tell she customized it on a website for me! I run to Amber and give her the biggest bear hug I could ever give and she may have skipped a breathe or two.

"OH MY GOSH AMBER I LOVE THESE SO MUCH OH MY GOD THANK YOU!" I scream so loud.

"Haha your welcome Alex! I love you!" She welcomes me. "Well I should probably get going now! Love you bæ bye!" I say exiting Amber's house with my present.

I walk into my house to a big surprise. Normally it's a normal day on my birthday but this year my mom hung up a birthday sign with balloons. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXIS!" My mother yells from behind while handing me an envelope. "Thank you! What's this?" I ask out of curiosity. She smiles. "This is your birthday present!" She said.

I grab the small envelope and open it up. I nearly drop it when I see tickets to meet the one and only CHANDLER RIGGS! I don't even read the card. I run to to mother and give her biggest hug and kiss possible. Tickets to meet the person I am obsessed with are right in my very own hands.

"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" I yell, squeezing my mom harder. "Oh Alex, your welcome but this Is only 1 out of 2 of your birthday presents!" She says with the biggest little smirk ever. "WHATS MY OTHER ONE!!!" I scream In her ear. There is a very quick moment of science.

"Well Alex, you're not exactly getting a gift, your getting news, I'm sure a part of the news is going to be absolutely unbelievable to you but also amazing and you're going to love it. But the news may also make you sad. So I'm not sure if you exactly want it to be counted as a birthday present." She says with a straight face. What kind of news can be amazing, sad and unbelievable?

"Hun I'll tell you that later, now go get ready for your birthday breakfast." She says. I nod and go down the hall and hop in the shower.

I finish my shower, hair and clothes and I walk into the kitchen to meet my mom for breakfast. We start to head outside and go into the car. We're going to Denny's for breakfast. It isn't that far. We arrive in the Denny's parking lot after about 7 minutes in the car.

We get out of the car and we start towards the door. Not many people are here because it's a Monday morning so we grab a booth in the back and wait to get our orders taken.

"Hi, I'm Melissa your waitress, are you ladies ready to order?" She smiled.

"Yes I'll have a pancake platter with bacon and a hot chocolate." I say with my mom following, "and I'll have a Belgian waffle with sausage and a cup of coffee with extra sugar."
