Chapter 13

Joey P.O.V

"Look I will make up with you as long as I have Sarabi as a friend and a friend only." said Paul. We were sitting in Sarabi's office on lock down. She pulled out a suppresser. Those guns are quiet and lethal how did she get her hands on so many guns? When did she even get the training to shoot one? I thought about it for a while if me and Paul made up I would still have to worry about him trying to take her away from me. But if I lose Sarabi then I don't know what I will do. I might have to make up with him. It was 7:00pm going on 8. I was ready to go home,and I knew he was too but Sarabi she didn't look tired at all completely relaxed.

"Can we speed this up I have a child at home I need to feed." she said putting her hands behind her head. She was still in her clothes that she fought Sam in all white. It brought a flashback of when I saw her fight. This time I don't think that if she was to punch me now that I would be able to get up for a while. Just to see her give Sam a solid hit made my stomach drop.

"Ok, I will try to be friends with him again, as long as I don't lose you babydoll, I will do anything for you. Not put cameras in your home but anything to protect you." I said. I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that Paul put cameras in her home that is what you call beyond crazy.

"Great you too shake hands and you two can go home I will lock up." I shook Paul's hand and shook it. "Lou and Charly you two can go now buisness is good."

"Night Ms.Scott, we hope you have a safe night." I forgot about the two men standing outside the door. She really has a buisness here she know when there might be trouble and when there is none. She know exactly how to do things. One of the men stepped in.

"I don't want to see you to fight ever again understood?" she said putting the gun in the man hands."Put Double O7 in a safe place."

"Yes Ma'am." the man left I was guessing it was Lou.

"Goodnight Paul and Joey get some rest." She said grabbing her gym bag and keys. We all walked to the parking garage everyone was gone. She stood by her Avalanche, Paul left in his Range Rover. I was parked by Sarabi in my Charger. She walked over to me putting her bag on the back of the truck.

"Come here," she motion for me. She wrapped her arms around me giving me a hug."Don't you ever think that your going to lose me ok?" I felt the shocks going through my body.

"I love you Sarabi, I really do." I kissed her on top of her forehead and hugged her back. Then she got in her truck and drove off. I got in my car and drove off thinking about her for the rest of the night. She was my dream girl and I didn't even know it. I always thought I would go for a typical girl but she is not a typical girl she is the girl 'The One'.

Sarabi P.O.V

I woke up the next morning feeling not up to par.It was like 1000 suns were beaming down on me. I went to my bathroom and got my thermometer it tested 107 degrees. No! I have a fever, I was really hoping to do something new to day with the fighters.

"Woah..."I said when I almost fell. I made my way back to my bed. I didn't even put the covers over me I just laid there. Noah had already left for school so I had nothing to worry about. But I had to call Sam to let her know that I'm sick. Just when I was thinking about calling her the phone started ringing.

"Hell-"

"Bi where you at girl? We are waiting in you!" Sam yelled.

"For your information I have a fucking fever! Don't yell over the phone! Damn, I was going to call you but you called me. Take over for me I know you got this you just as strong as me get in the ring if you have to."

"Oh, sorry I didn't mean to yell. Get better ok? I know you said when your not here to become just as tough as you. Call me if you need anything."

"Ok Sam see you later Darlin'."

"Bye" she hung up. My head started hurting when she yelled.

"Well at least I can go back to sleep." I turned over and fell back to sleep. it was a good thing that I was wearing shorts and a tank top because if I was wearing long pants and and a long sleeve shirt that I would be burning up.

Joey P.O.V

I walking in the building I was instantly wanting to see Sarabi in her usual spot but I didn't I saw Sam. Sam still looked the same way she did in High school. Her and Jay got married she has made him a happy man. But I wanted to see my beautiful lady that stole my heart. I walked up to her she didn't look at me she was focusing on the ring.

"Um..Sam where is Sarabi?" I asked.

"She is not here Joey."

"I can see that, but I ask where is she."

"Well she though it would be nice to stay home today since she has a fever."

"She has the fever !?"I turned and walked right back out the building.

"Joey where you going?"

"To take care of my baby!" I said getting in my car. I had to make sure she was ok.

Sarabi P.O.V

I was sleep until I heard the doorbell. I slowly made my way down stairs. I was hot and I didn't want to move at all who could it possibly be? I open the door to find Joey standing there in sweat pants and a sweatshirt with a worried look on his face.

"Oh baby, I came to take care of you," he picked me him and carried me bridal when did he get so strong?"I want you resting Don't get up or anything you need to cool down." He said putting me in the bed.

"Joey you don't have to take care of me I'm not a baby."

"Your my baby, I love you and I'm going to take care of you." I felt the other side of the bed dip he gazed at me.

"I don't want to hold you back Joey."

"Your never holding me back, you always bring me up. I want to do the same for you." he went to the bathroom and came back with a towel and put it on my forehead it was cool it felt good.

"Oh that feels good..." I said.

"That what I want to do to you make you feel good." he said back. He laid beside me. He turned on the t.v and turned it on the Powerpuff Girls.

"One of your favorite cartoons." he chuckled.

"Thanks Joey."

"No problem BabyDoll." he kissed my hand and stayed by my side. He was really taking care of me.

"I love you baby girl." He said putting his arm around me.

"Love you too Joey."

"You are my world."he said for the the rest of the time we sat and watched t.v time to time he would fix me food he made me feel special. He was really trying and I appreciated that of him.
