Chapter 5: Goodbye Again

TODAY WAS THE DAY!!! Saying I am nervous is an understatement! I'm still so excited though but I am devastated I have to leave Jai. I mean we just got to see each other again in months and now I'm leaving him again for another couple of months. In the end, it will all be worth it though, at least I hope.

These past few weeks flew by so fast. The first thing I knew I was so happy that Jai was here and now I'm gonna have to say goodbye.

I was suddenly brought back to reality when there was a knock on the door.

"Ariana you ready?" Jai's thick Australian accent asked. I quickly slipped my top over my head and jolted towards the door.

"Yeah I'm ready now," I looked up into his sad eyes matching mine.

"Hey Ariana I don't want you to be sad okay? This is a big deal for you and I want you to enjoy every minute of it. You have no idea how proud I am of you and how much you deserve this. So don't be sad babe, we will see each other again very soon in your LA show okay?"

I didn't even notice the tears spilling from my eyes. "I know Jai, but w-we just got to see each other again and I've missed you so-" my voice was muffled by Jai's shirt when he pulled me into a hug.

"Shh, babe. Don't cry okay? Now let's get going, you don't wanna be late," Jai soothed me.

"I honestly have the best boyfriend in the world," I smiled while picking up some of my bags.

"Well you know I try," Jai laughed causing me to roll my eyes. Jai picked up some of my luggages as well and we made our way to his car. We put everything in the trunk and I started to get more anxious. This is finally happening. I walked over to my mom and hugged her.

"Oh Ari, I'm gonna miss you so much sweetie. Please please take care of yourself a-" I cut my mom off, "I know mom, I love you," I let go while laughing. "I love you too," she smiled.

"Ariana, have fun and please tell Justin I love him okay?" Frankie hugged me. "Oh and I love you too," he said making me laugh. "Oh Frankie I'm gonna miss you making me laugh at the worst times, I love you," I let go and waved goodbye.

During the car ride I was feeling mixed emotions. I was lost in my thoughts. I was obviously feeling sad because I'm not gonna see my mom, Frankie or Jai for a few weeks...months? I don't even know. See my mom can't come with me because she has work and Frankie has a life of his own. But I am also feeling excited, excited for the tour and excited to see my best friend I haven't seen in forever, Alexa. She's going with me on tour since she is taking online college classes. I'm so thankful she is if not I would have gone mental.

"Ariana?" Jai's voice brought me back to reality once again.

"Oh yeah sorry what was that? I'm kinda lost today...," I spoke.

"Yeah you kinda are or you would have noticed that we're here," Jai got out of the car and went to get my bags. I took a deep breath and walked out. We are finally here, at the venue where our tour buses are and the crew. From what I've been told there's a bus for Justin, a bus for Cody and a bus for me. Then there's also two buses for the crew. Last but not least two buses for Scooter and Stephanie. That's a lot of buses!

I was instantly greeted by Alexa. I ran and hugged her as we said our hello's and "I missed you's". Seeing her definitely brightened my mood.

"Hi Ariana, are you ready to go?" A stressed out looking Scooter asked with an excited Justin standing next to him asked.

"Uh yeah I'm just a little nervous," I admitted.

"Don't be, you're gonna have a lot of fun," Justin replied and his eyes moved to where Alexa and Jai were standing as well did Scooter's.

"Oh guys this is Alexa my best friend, she is going on tour with me and this is Jai, my boyfriend," I introduced them. After that Alexa hugged Justin and Scooter and Jai shared and awkward handshake with both of them. "Ariana you should say your goodbyes, we leave in three minutes," Scooter motioned to Jai and walked away.

I went over to Jai and hugged him. This is the part I hate, saying goodbye. Jai rubbed circles on my back and whispered into my ear," Remember what I told you earlier Ariana, I love you so much." I nodded and replied," I love you Jai, a lot." He gave me a passionate kiss and I knew that none of us wanted to let go because the next thing I heard was someone clearing their throat.

We both pulled away and turned around to see Justin...great!

"Um...Scooter told me to tell you that your boyfriend Jack needs to go because we are leaving now," Justin awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

"Uh it's Jai and why didn't Scooter come instead?" Jai retorted rudely, his jealous side showing.

I was about to say something only to be interrupted by Justin," Look man I'm not looking for problems and clearly you don't know how things work here, that's why your girlfriend here is the one going on tour," and with that Justin walked away.

I was shocked, "Jai you shouldn't have said anything, Scooter is obviously busy."

"Oh so now you're defending him?!" Jai tried to remain calm.

"Jai I'm not, but what you did was wrong now I don't want to fight with you especially not today," I looked at my shoes.

"You're right Ariana, I'm sorry it's just that all of this is finally getting to me, I've been on edge all day and I'm gonna miss you so much," Jai said.

"It's fine Jai, I know how you feel babe, now you should really get going I love you," I smiled.

"I love you too," and with that Jai was gone.

I looked back to Alexa who stood there with wide eyes. "You listened to all that?" I asked. "Obviously but did that just happen?" Alexa questioned.

I laughed and nodded as we picked up our bags and made our way to the bus.

We finally reached my tour bus. This is it.
