The Shadows in the Woods

Chapter 4 Part 1- Awakening

I let out a moan.
Everything aches.
I blink several times, clearing my vision. Then, I brush most of the dirt off of my clothes, and heave myself to a standing position.
I look around, and collect my rucksack from the floor.
I'm in a forest, but...
There's an edge... like a cliff.
And I can see Earth below me.
I'm elsewhere.
