Suddenly, the car stops and both Michael and Gavin qickly retreat their hands and look away from each other feeling awkward.
"All right Michael, this is your house" Geoff says, "Is Lindsay home or do you need some help to get in?"
"No, Linsay's not home" Michael replies, "And I don't wanna be all by myself!"
Michael almost starts crying as a result of all the alcohol in his blood. Gavin does not like seeing Michael like this and suggests to stay with him for the night, being a bit more sober than his friend. Geoff approves of this idea of Gavin's and help the two boys inside the house. When both Gavin and Michael are safe in the house, Ray and Geoff drive off leaving the two of them all by themeselves.
Michael starts taking his clothes off getting ready for bed. Gavin looks awkwardly at him feeling uncomfortable but then starts doing the same. When they are both stripped down to nothing more than their boxers, they crawl into Michael's bed. They lie under the same duvet but facing either way; back against back.
The whole situation is a little awkward and so Gavin decides to break the silence:
"I really had fun today, didn't you?"
"I sure did, Gavin, and I'm actually already feeling a lot better. I really should stop drinking that much every single time we boys go out together but everything is just so much more fun when you are drunk, am I not right?"
"You are indeed!" Gavin says smiling to himself thinking of what happened earlier and the fact that that might not would have happened if it had not been for the alcohol.
Michael rolls to his other side so that he is now looking at gavin's back. Gavin does the same thing, and they are now facing eachother loking into eachother's eyes.
"Thanks for staying with me, Gavin" Michael says smiling at his friend "I don't know why, but I just really didn't feel like beeing all by myself today, you know?"
"Nah, it's no problem, you're my boi Michael, and I will do anything to make you happy"
This makes Michael blush a little bit, he does not know why but he also does not give a shit. All he wants to do is enjoy this moment with his boi, and not think of anything else. Gavin slowly moves his hand closer to Michael's and when he gets close enough he grabs it and they intertwine their fingers. Michael smiles and Gavin cannot help but do the same thing.
The two boys lie like that for a long time, not worrying about anything in the world untill gavin again decides to kill the silence:
"Hey Michael?" he wispers, "What are we doing?"
"I don't know, Gavy" he wispers back "What would you like for us to be doing?"
"Uhm...... Uhhh.. I don't know, what about you?"
"Well..." Michael wispers in a, what gavin thinks, very sexy, husky voice.
"Gavin can't help but think about the naughtiest things because of what Michael said and the way he had been looking at him; like he could see right into his soul which gave Gavin goose bumps.
"I'm so confused" Gavin thought to himself, "What is he....."
Gavin did not get to think more than this before Michael suddenly moved his face closer to his, looking into his eyes so deeply that Gavin was just unable to move. When Michael's lips were just inces away from Gavin's. Gavin automatically parted his lips slightly and slowly closed his eyes. michael did the same and their lips met in the best kiss any of them had ever experienced before.
"Wow! His lips are so soft" Michael thought, "This is just amazing, I have never thought in my life that this moment would ever happen, but I certainly am glad it did".
"He's a really good kisser, I am actually getting a little turned on" Gavin thought, blushing about this thought of getting an erection from kissing freaking Michael. "Am I falling in love with my best friend?". This thought made Gavin unmoveable and Michael stopped the kissing and moved away.
"Is anything wrong, buddy?" Michael said worrying about Gavin. "I'm sorry about the kiss, I didn't mean to make you feel too uncomfortable but i just couldn't help myself. I'm sorry!"
"No, Michael, don't be sorry, I liked the kiss. I really, really liked it but....."
