Sitting inside the theatre room, Fab5 and Soha were busy in debating on which movie to see.
Irritated by the constant blabbering of Fab5, Soha yelled " oh just stop it!!!!!!....we are gonna watch a horror movie and that's final. .."
The colour of Maniks face started to turn pale and he stammered " horror. ...horror film hi kyon? ???....kuch aur dekhte hai naa. ..."
Nandini, who was till then a silent spectator, asked " what is the problem with horror film? ???"
But instead of Manik, Cabir replied " Woh kya hai naa Nandini. ....horror film dekhte waqt Manik ke paas baith naa is equal to hot seat pein baith na! !!!"
Nandini curiously asked " and why is that so? ????"
Cabir ( sarcastically ) : because Manik ki horror film dekhte waqt literally phat ti hai. ...aur usske side mein job bhi baith ta hai . ..Manik usse scratch or bite karta hai! !!!
Nandini gave a culprit look to Manik. While, Maniks puppy dog face was on.
Soha cheekily replied " don't worry guys. ...main Manik ke paas baithungi naa. ...as I am not scared of horror movies! !!"
Cabir ( muttered ) :darr kaha se laage ga. ...puri movie toh aankh bannd kar ke dekhti hai! !!!!
Mukti ( sternly ) : itni taklif karne ki zarurat nehin hai Soha ! !!!....Nandini hai naa. ...woh Manik ko sambhal legi! !!!
With no options left, Nandini was seated beside Manik, on the couch.
Nandini ( whispered ) : if you dare to scratch me naa. ...toh main tumhare fingers pein nail polish laaga dungi! !!!
Giving a horrified look to Nandini, Manik muttered " tum mujhe threaten kar rahi ho! !!!"
Nandini sternly replied " ji haan. ...so mind your actions. ..."
Gulping down his saliva, Manik tried to focus on the screen. While, Nandini got engrossed in her mobile.
As the movie progressed, sweat beads started forming on Maniks forehead.
The whole time, Manik was bitting his nails out of fear. While, the sound effects did nothing, but increased Maniks heart beat.
As soon as the ghost appeared on the screen, Manik wrapped his arms around Nandini's waist and hid his face ,in the crook of her neck.
The whole thing happened in such a jiffy, that Nandini was shocked and her hands were dangling in air.
Clinging to Nandini like a new born baby, Manik keept on muttering " altu jalaltu ayi baala ko taal tu. ..."
Getting a grip on her wild heart beats, Nandini with a shaking hand, started to ruffle Maniks hair. While, Nandini's other hand was busy in rubbing his back.
Calming down a bit in Nandini's arms, Manik peacefully dozed off. While, Nandini just keept on doing her work, without any complaints.
Nandini ( pov ) ( pissed ) : Soha Poha kahi ki! !!!!....bada shauk hai naa horror film dekhne ka. ..usse toh ab bhoot main dekhaungi! !!!....just wait and watch. ...
The movie finally came to an end, much to Nandini's relief.
Turning their heads, Fab4 and Soha found Manik sleeping like a baby, in Nandini's arms.
Before Nandini could protest, Soha went and switched on the lights.
This really irked Nandini, and she whisper yelled " are you dump or what? ????....dekh nehin sakti kya Manik soo raha hai! !!!!!"
