Anaiyah"s POV

It's been 9 years since chloe and logan had been married and ari and ant having triplets, they had three boys, and 2 years later had two twin girls. Chloe and Logan have children of their own also, they also had triplets two boys and a girl, they had another girl 9 months later. And maddie, yeah maddie got married also 4 years later, and has two girls and one boy. Papa"s doing fine he has only me left so it's just us two. And me well I turned 18 a couple of months ago, and have been well ever since.

Naiyah I'm home,

(Anaiyah"s nickname) I heard someone say downstairs. I gasped papa was here. I ran down stairs, my long hair that had grew over the past years followed behind me with my snow white dress that arianna made for me and my shaped heart necklace swinging back and forth.

Papa!! I squealed, jumping into his arms, he laughed spinning me around which only made me to squeal more. He sat me down and I hugged him.

I missed you papa I said.

He chuckled I was only out of town for a couple of hours he said.

I know but it feels like forever, and I missed you, don't you miss me I said using my puppy dog eyes and putting on my best innocent look on my face. He smirked of course I missed my baby girl, how are you love he asked, well, thank you very much.

Papa you must be tired go get some rest, I'll get dinner started alright I'll see you when I get back, I lead him towards the couch and layed him down. I put on my brown heeled boots, and wrapped my red cloak around me, and put on my hood. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a couple of coins from our money jar and went out to the village.

Anaiyah"s POV

I arrived at the market, and bought lettuce, cucumber"s, carrots, and tomatoes to make a salad. I also bought grains to make white rice, and meat to make chicken. I paid and went back home. Once I got inside I immediately started to use the ingredients to make supper.

After what seemed like hours to make, I finally prepared dinner. I made chicken with rice, a big side salad and corn bread. Papa came in moments later and sniffed the air, mhm what did you make naiyah it smells heavenly he said sitting down. I chuckled here I made - chicken with rice, a big salad and corn bread he said cutting me off as I placed his dinner on the table. Correct, you have a very good nose there I laughed, he laughed to and kissed my cheek, thanks love, no problem I said while placing my food on the table and began eating but was erupted when I heard a knock on the door. I'll get it papa you keep on eating I said getting ready to get up but was stopped. No Anaiyah I'll see who who it is, he said I obeyed and sat back down eating my food.

Papa came back minutes later with a later in his hand. What is it I asked curiously, it's a letter he said and began reading it intently.

Well what does it say?

It says that you're grandmother is sick and needs medicine if not treated well. I need to bring this to her right away he said.

Papa maybe it might be alright if I bring the medicine to grandmother's, I haven't seen her in a while and I miss her terribly, is it all right for me to deliver.

NOO!! he said strictly, you know grandmother lives in the woods it's dangerous out their. The wolf might be their, and I can't afford to lose my daughter. Papa your not going to lose me, I'm eighteen years old now I can handle myself just find, don't worry I'll be back soon, I said getting up and leaving the room but was grabbed and forcibly pulled back, I said No!! and that's final he yelled. I was surprised he almost never yells at me, papa nothing"s going to happen, I can take care of myself, I'm not a child anymore,

you know that...........papa please, I'll be careful and I'll stay safe.....please just a quick trip, and before you know it I'll be back..... please I said..............it took some time but he gaved in.

Alright, but you have to promise me that you'll stay safe and be careful, I will, thank you I said hugging him. I went to the front door and wrapped my red cloak around me and took out my pocket knife from a drawer and stuck it in my left boot. I turned around to see papa behind me looking at me with curious eyes.

What was that you just hid in your boot just now he asked?

I took out the knife and showed it to him then and put it back. He looked confused, well I am going to need something to protect myself right, and plus the fighting skills you taught when I was younger will come in handy I said smirking.

He shooked his head and laughed, you are your father's daughter he smiled and hugged me, I laughed and hugged back. We pulled away and he handed me the basket with grandmother's medicine with.............chocolate chip cookies. I looked at papa confused, he seemed to notice why and said, the chocolate chip cookies are in there because your grandmother requested to have them, apparently its been a while since she had any goods, so I asked the towns baker to make them for her he said, I nodded smiling.

Bye papa I said hugging him again, he hugged me back tightly, stay safe Naiyah he whispered I smiled, I will I said and he kissed my head we broke apart. I opened the door and stepped outside. I walked through the village and stopped at the gate telling the guards that I was stopping by grandmother's. They opened the doors and I stepped outside immediately. It began to snow I put on my red hood and walked through the woods. Everything was alright as I started my journey through the woods, I thought I was fine but I didn't realized I was being watched. I walked carefully into the woods watching out for everything, a move, a sound something to keep my guard up....................but then I heard something snap.
