I woke up that morning unwilling to talk to the old woman, I had no intention to do it but I had to do it anyway. Before the breakfast, I got out of my house and followed the directions that my parents gave me. I stood in front of the house and rang the doorbell. The old woman opened the door with a half-smile, at first sight, she seems a good person. Her appearance was a little down, seems like she was a hundred years old, and she apparently live alone. I greeted her with a smile and I said "Good morning Madam, I would like to ask you a few questions, I can enter?" .... after a few seconds the woman answers: "Of course young lady," .The house was dirty and full of carpets of different colors. She told me to sit down and offered me a cup of tea, for not being unpolite I said yes. Then we started talking quickly, I asked her name and she told me that I have to call her as I thought it was her personality. I really don't understand very well because I didn't know her to find out her personality but something came to my head. And I decided to call her "The wise old woman", and that was the name I wrote in the notebook.
As she spoke her words at the first time, it was noticeable that she had to work very hard to pronounce the words correctly. I didn't ask her the question that I have to ask since she began to talk about her life, her dead sons, her profession as a nurse in the World War ll. I thought that the world war preceding was a little more interesting than the other things. I asked her if she liked to help the soldiers in that time. She was so exited to talk about her life. The time passed and it was running late. I said goodbye to her and she tells me: "Ok, see you tomorrow" then I was walking toward my house. I was thinking about her dead children, because I thought that they probably related with her nurse profession. I know that many years have passed by but it's strange how these thoughts came into my mind. Anyways I didn't give it much importance. The night was cold for me, my bones started to shake mildly... I was lying in my bed waiting for tomorrow.
