The summer ended way to fast , but these last few months with my babies , and my big brother have been amazing, even with the kid napping ordeal. It's hard for me to believe I won't physically be with any of them again until thanksgiving. Today is my last day before I have to go back, I woke up and didn't want to move. I had Kai on one side of me, and Dave behind me and Ky down at my feet this was my happy place. I was going to miss this the most waking up with them was the best part of my day. I'm spending the day with Kai and Rico , and then my last night is all for my baby.
" MiMi come on get up you gotta get dressed Rico planned the day for y'all."
I pouted stretching my body I sat up and kissed Dave's lips.
" It's to early baby , tell Rico to wait !"
" Babe come on seriously , you know how your brother is about his surprises , plus you leave in the morning."
" Ugh fine ! Just get Kai dressed while I get ready."
I dragged my body out of bed and got into the shower, after my morning hygiene routine. I stood in my closet trying to figure out what I was going to where. I decided to go with something casual. I put on a grey sweater , some jeans , and my grey and white high top vans. I braided my hair and did my makeup.
" Okay I'm ready everyone else done ?"
" We've been done MiMi damn why you always gotta take forever ?"
" Rico shut up, why you wanna plan activities early in the morning ?"
He side eyed me and I laughed , he knew I wasn't a morning person but I'm sure this was important to him. I picked up Kai and walked towards the door, Dave stood at the door smiling at us. He leaned down and kissed Kai on her forehead and then kisses my lips.
" I love you both ! See you when you come back."
We both smiled at him and walked out to Rico's truck. Rico and Dave stood at the door talking for a while before Rico came to the truck. I turned on the radio and me and Kai started dancing. I think most of all she was going to have the hardest time dealing with me being back at school. We've been prepping her, but I don't think she understands. We pulled up to one of my favorite brunch spots and I looked over at Rico and smiled.
" Oh big brother you know the way to my heart is through my stomach."
" The whole world knows that baby sister."
I laughed and grabbed Kai from her car seat. We walked in and were seated immediately.
" You know you play mommy really well MiMi."
I couldn't tell if he was being an asshole or what he meant by that. I counted to 3 before I entertained his statement.
" I'm not trying to be her mother Rico. I just enjoy spending time with her."
