Kaylyn's POV
I awoke to my alarm blaring as I slammed it to shut it off. I got to be asked to help to be a runner in the studio. Let me introduce myself, my name is Kaylyn. I have long dark brown hair with brown eyes. I'm fairly average hieght and wieght. Though I am strong from lifting soo much weight.
I parked my car at the studio, and I saw my friend Drew Ryan Scott waiting for me. "Hey Deazy!" I cried out with a smile. "Hey its Kay! I'm soo glad that you want to help me. I'm working with my new friend Jeremy Thurber. He is going to be the next big thing!" Drew said after he gave me a hug. "Really? I would like to hear some of his songs. What song is he recording today?" I said as we walked into the recording studio. I was lead into a dark room with the studio to the right. I was introduce to the crew behind the scenese and finally I was introduced to Jeremy Thurber. Jeremy was tall with blonde hair with the bright blue eyes. He looked at me and licked his lip.
"Hello, my name is Jeremy, what's yours?" Jeremy asked me in a nice voice. One he said hello, I felt my heart race as I looked into his blue eyes. "Hi, my name is Kaylyn and it's nice to meet you Jeremy. Drew has told me alot about you." I said smiling as I feel my heart reach up in my throat. "Oh really? I hope he had tell you good things about me." Jeremy said smiling. We both continued talking until he had to get back to work on a song called "Had Me At Hello". I closed my eyes and listened to him sing. He had a great singing voice and I moved my head to the beat. I got sent to do some running to get some paper work and I just did the job i was there for. After the recording was done, I heard the whole song. I liked it and did a small thumbs up as Jeremy looked at me.
After the studio work, we took a break for lunch. Drew took me to Panera bread, and we sat down and start to eat. "So do you like Jeremy?" Drew asked me. I felt my face blush as I took a bite of my food. "Yeah I do like him, but I like him a friend right now. Does Jeremy have a girlfriend?" I asked as I took a bite of my soup bowl. "Yeah, but lets just say she's a little control freak. She was in visiting while you were running papers. She doesn't want ANY girls near Jeremy." Drew said as he sipped his tea. "Really, so why he is with a girl like her?" I asked as I sipped my own drink. "Because the record company wants him to date someone that is hot and will help bring in more sales." Drew said shaking his head. "Oh brother, does he even like her or hes with her becuase shes hot and I take it kinda easy?" I said with a bit of soup in my mouth. "Yeah you can say that much. I told Jeremy to dump her and stand up to the record company.
But he doesn't want to blow his chances and I can understand where he is coming from though." Drew said as he ate his sandwhich. "Great, I hope he gets the courage to stand up for his rights as an aritst." I said as I heard a couple people sit behind me. Drew nodded and got a text saying that his friends Cody, TC, and Jayk were coming over to join us. I didn't mind waiting for them and it would be good to make new friends in LA. I recently moved down here for school and never managed to get a job until I met Drew and we became close friends.
Me and Drew continue talking about what songs Jeremy and some of the aritst Drew was working for when three really cute guys came walking up to our table. Cody was TALL and had medium length blonde hair. He was FIT and I couldn't help but drool over his nice smile when he smiled at me. TC was a very young guy but he was cute. He had short blonde hair with blue eyes that shown when he smiled. I couldn't help but smile back. Jayk was a tad taller than me, he was super cute. He had black/brown hair that was cut in a punk look style. But he had a nice smile as well as pretty brown eyes. He smiled widly as he saw me. I smiled back and said my name. "It's nice to meet you guys. Shall we all sit down?" I said as I jestered our booth. We all sat down, Jayk sat down next to me then Cody, TC and Drew.
"So Kaylyn, where are you from?" Jayk asked me with a smile. "I'm from Oregon. I came down here to go to school and to start a new life for myself." I said with a smile as the guys order some food. Then as we got up ready to leave, I thought I heard Jeremy's voice in the booth behind us with a girl. "So there was a girl at the studio, she was a helper and she was hardly in the room with me! Why are you always like this? I'm starting to get sick of you controlling me!" Jeremy yelled. "Did you talk to the girl? What's her name? I want to find out! I'm this way because I don't want to lose you to any girl. I'm the best you ever have and I want to make sure everyone knows it. Also you know you can't break up with me because we had a deal! " the girl said in the most whiniest voice. "I'm not telling you nothing! It's none of your business who are the girls that I work with.
As for the deal, I talked to the record company and they had a change in management. So I can dump you whenever I want to, like right now. Isabella WE ARE OVER!" Jeremy said as he got up and walked pass our table. I was shocked at what I just heard. I saw Isabella running up behind him and whispering in his ear about something. I saw Isabella was indeed very beautiful with her long blonde hair and dark eyes and skinny body. I knew she was a runway model by the judging of her height was several inches taller than me. I glanced over to Jeremy's face go from happy to shock. Then I saw Isabella's face went into a smile as she hug Jeremy's arm. "I wonder what was that about." Drew said as we turned to face each other. "She must have something on Jeremy to make him stay with her." Jayk said as he started to eat his food. "I agree, I know that girl. She's a runway model but a total bitch. She has to have certian things to go her way before she does any photoshoots." Cody said as he took a big bite of his food. "Poor Jeremy, he did say the other day that he had hope that he would find a way to get rid of Isabella for good." TC said siping his drink. "Poor guy, I wish I could help him but I think I would cause more trouble then help. Plus I think she might of told him that she's pregnant if Drew's info about her being a slut is correct. She could be pulling it out to be Jeremy's." I said sipping my drink as all the guys looked at me. "You know what Kay you might be right. I do remember the other day she ran into the bathroom throwing up." Drew said getting a couple bagels to go. I just sighed and played with my straw. I knew then that I could never have a chance with Jeremy in the first place though somehow he just couldn't leave my thoughts.
After our small group ate, I was going to head towards my small car when Jayk came up behind me. "Hey Kaylyn wait up!" Jayk said as he tapped my shoulder. "What's up Jayk?" I asked before I got into my car. "Um, can I have your number? So we can text and chat?" Jayk asked with a hopeful look on his face. "Sure, you can help show me around town sometime." I said as I took out a piece of paper and wrote down my number. I bid Jayk good bye as I drove home.
Once I got at home, I smiled as I remembered how Jeremy smiled at me. I felt my heart beat faster. I got on my computer and listen to Jeremy's music and I became a fan. I loved Jeremy's song 'Love Me When I'm Leavin". Which sounded what went on today. I thought about Jeremy's face as he left the restaruant with a big smile on his face. I turned on my TV to see what was on and then I saw a couple kissing together.
My mind thought of what it would be like if me and Jeremy kissed. I shook my head as I felt my own face growing warm. 'SNAP OUT OF IT KAY! Jeremy has a girlfriend and you are not the type of girl who would steal him away no matter how bad the girlfriend is.' I thought to myself as I got into the shower and got things ready for the next day. I layed in my bed thinking about Jeremy's blue eyes and how they shined earlier. I had noticed something else behind his eyes. I could see something of wanting or rather that he likes what he sees and wants to pursue it. I wondered if Jeremy liked me or was starting to like me. I closed my eyes and let my dreams wonder to Jeremy Thurber.
