"Honey, wake up!" my mom yelled.
Today was the first day of school. I was excited to meet now people while still scared to start my sophomore year in a place where I didn't know anybody.
I had an outfit chosen the day before. It was a pair of black skinny jeans paired with my favorite white T-shirt that said NERD COMING THROUGH. I wanted to wear my brown hair up in a bun. For my makeup, I decided with some mascara with a thin layer of light pink lip gloss.
Going down to get breakfast I grabbed my black backpack.

After breakfast, I got into the car and waited for my mom to start the car. Once the engine began to hum, I stared straight ahead, wondering about how the school looked.
The school looked amazing. I was speechless.
After getting off the car, I looked straight ahead, ignoring the stares.
"Oww!" I said.
"You should watch where you're going," a male voice said.
I looked up, with an insult on my lips. But then I saw his face. He was a tall boy with hazel hair and brown eyes. His face was perfectly chiseled, and he had full pink lips.
I was knocked out of my stupor when he said, "Close your mouth; a fly can fly into it." with a smirk.
