"Shhh Z,calm down, you will make yourself worse," Liam soothed his husband gently.
Zayn knew he couldn't afford to make things any tougher on his husband so he gulped down his sobs and relaxed into Liam's warm arms.
"You're burning up baby." Liam frowned worriedly.
"Shocker." Zayn sniffled, sarcasm dripping from his speech."Just lay back down, try to sleep. Next time you wake I'll have some medicine ready for you Love." Liam helped him shuffle back down under the covers and washed the bucket out before placing it back where it was.
Liam then headed back to the twins room but heard noises from the bathroom. He knocked on the bathroom door but didn't wait for answer before going in.
Harry had completely missed the toilet upon entering the bathroom and instead puked all over the floor. He also messed himself more in the nappy. He hardly noticed the door opening. He was sat on the toilet, the place where he felt he'd literally been all day, and he was trying not to get sick again.
He'd chucked the soiled nappy into the bath earlier.
"Hazza, you've been in here like this alone? How long darling?" Liam cooed as he entered the room, immediately throwing a towel over the sick on the floor.
Harry just shrugged. He had no idea. It felt like it had been weeks.
Liam comforted his son by holding the bucket and and rubbing his back saying soothing things."Make it st-" Harry started of saying before he was gagging. He heaved and retched for what felt like forever, nothing but tiny amounts of bile would come up.
"Aw Buddy, I think you're empty" Liam moved the bucket away, realising that Harry wasn't going to need it after all. It didn't matter that Louis had thrown up after he'd eaten, Harry needed something in his stomach or that heaving was going to ruin him. Liam thought that maybe some energy drink would be good too.
Liam helped clean Harry and put a fresh nappy on him. He placed cream on the area first and helped the lad to bed before going downstairs to get him some crackers and some diarrlyte.
He filled a bottle up for each of his sick family members, thinking ahead. It would benefit them all in the long run. He didn't know why he hadn't thought of it earlier.Liam had different coloured tops for all three of them so they wouldn't share each other's. He headed upstairs and put the yellow top in their room for Zayn, the red top by Louis' bed and the blue top he had Harry sip while coaxing him into eating some crackers.
"That's enough..." Harry murmured weakly, pushing away the last few crackers. He'd managed four, but he didn't think he could swallow another mouthful without puking. All the liquid felt unsettled in his tummy and the solid food wasn't helping.
"Alright Bud, that's fine, good job." Liam smiled, "get some more rest."
Harry nodded and tucked himself back into bed.He tried to go back to sleep but all food and diarrlyte was churning and cramping round his body.
Liam was about to go out the room when Louis started thrashing around in bed.His limbs quickly tangled in the sheets as Liam shook his shoulders in an attempt to wake him. He held Louis' face in his hands and winced at the heat burning into his skin.
Harry whimpered, wide eyes locked on his brother.
Liam shook Louis slightly harder and his sons eyes finally popped open, wide with fright. Louis was shaking, hard.
"Shhh Papa's here it was just a nightmare Lou, we can have some medicine in a minute, you're boiling and have a bad fever Bud," Liam explained quickly.
Louis completely broke down in his Papa's arms. He felt awful."I know Buddy, I know, shhh Love." Liam rubbed Louis' back as the boy sobbed into his shoulder.
Louis' didn't dare open his eyes. Even with them shut he felt lightheaded and dizzy, seeing everything spinning around him would just make him sick or worse.
