You lean against the brick barrier and look over at the ocean. The suns already set and the moon has come up giving the somewhat calm ocean water a beautiful luminescent glow. You sigh and drop your head in between your elbows."Where is he?" you feel a passing wind under your knee length dress and shiver.
You pull out your smartphone from your dress pocket and glance at the time.
21:06PM.
You sigh once more, "Is this, what being stood up feels like." You shove your smartphone back into your pocket. "He hasn't even seen me yet and he's already decided to bail."
You stare up at the moon, and run your hands up and down your exposed shivering arms in order to create warmth but that didn't do much justice since you were in a dress.
"Why did I listen to (y/b/f/n)...blind dates are never a good idea."
"(y/n)!!" a familiar voice yells and you turn around.
It's much brighter on this side than the side you were previously facing because there's restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours etc. etc. Your eyes scan through the not so busy walkway and finally your gaze lands on a familiar form.
He's tall and is sporting a black skinny jean, his right hand is tucked into his Supreme brand hoodie and his left hand holds a skate board. Your eyes trails further up his body and you notice his Godly features which is amplified by the bright lights from around. His cobalt blue eyes sparkles and bits of blond hair breaks free from the black beanie he has on.
"Sting?" you mumble appalled at his sudden appearance.
You watch as he jumps over a little ledge and skates his way toward you. You feel your heart rate increase and suddenly feel nervous because Sting doesn't know that you're here for a blind date.
Why is he even here?
"What you're doing out here so late, it's not safe to be out here alone." Sting says sounding genuinely concerned.
"Urr... well... I just got here from a get-together... I needed some fresh air." You lie. "and you?"
He rubs his nape shyly, "I was in the neighbourhood." He chuckles. "and why aren't you wearing a jacket?"
"I forgo-" you start but see Sting remove his hoodie and he inches closer to you. "Sting, no, I'm fine really."
"I'm not listening to any of your protests, I don't want you catching a cold." You blush and he puts the hoodie over your body.
You put your arms through the arm holes and then tug on the hem of the hoodie, pulling it down passed your waist. You were drowning in it but that didn't seem to bother Sting and the scent that floated off the fabric and lingered in your nostrils was that scent Sting always exuded; Strawberries.
You loved that scent. It always made you feel... happy and safe for some reason.
You look up at Sting with a pursed lips smile and he looks down at you and a cute chuckle escapes his lips at your sight.
You look down at the ground, suddenly feeling shy, "thank yo-" you were cut off once more and you feel something warm suddenly cover your head.
"This should keep you warmer." You look at him and his blond locks are fallen over his forehead and a smile is plastered on his lips.
"Sting, I have your hoodie, I can use the hood. Please take i-" he interjects.
"(y/n)." he says covering your ears with the beanie.
